Masterton Motor Lodge

Clean and comfortable rooms

Taps were hard to turn off

Good location, nice staff, convenient

No, suited what i needed

Good location, comfy beds.

The pool wasn't open while we were there.Granted we weren't there during the day, but we were back 5pm and didn't leave till 10am.

Beautiful quite place to stay . Comfortable bed

Unit was nice and clean just a little tired looking outside building good do with a good wash

Nice aspect in that we looked out onto a grass courtyard and the sun was coming in.Quiet, couldn't hear road noise.Good shower and towels etcBeds satisfactory

Bit dated and worn, limited space within unit. Some blinds and curtains were ripped. Bald unappealing approach. Needed some plantings or greenery to soften the approach.

Quiet and very friendly hosts and free laundry

It was quiet. Price was fine. It was clean and all appliances worked.

The pool needed to be cleaned. The place needs a refresh.

This property has so much potential. It has beautiful grounds , a lovely pool and oodles of space.

There has been nothing done to this property in years. It’s tired, run down and needs a lot of TLC.

Friendly manager, room was very tidy and comfortable

Microwave could be position better

Cleanliness and space

Had sleeping fur 3 but only 1 lounge chair

Great atmosphere car front , great grass space to pool.

Had to get neighbor to get tv going.

Comfortable bed.

Shower would not turn on, Hot water tap over handbasin would not turn on, Wife, who is not a tall person could not reach cups in cupboard for morning coffee.

Plenty of parking

The bathroom was a bit out dated and can do with a revamp the crockery and cutlery in the kitchen was all mismatched and the water pressure of the shower was really soft

There was a tv but nothing was working I mean no YouTube or Netflix or any other entertainment channel

Cleaning

Really friendly excellent value and tidy and clean

We had a power cut on the day we were checking out … likely not the Motels problem though .:)

The room was clean.

The motel could do with some maintenance outside and inside. We stayed there 34 years ago and except for the soft furnishings, the carpets and bathroom fittings in our room did not appear to have been updated since then. We acknowledge that the motel is under new management and significant maintenance like painting and carpets etc is usually the job of the building owner not the manager.

Easy access

Very dated. 70’s decor and shower was ancient.

Large room.Very comfortable bed.Friendly staff.

Nice and cosy when we arrived.

Huge TV covering mirror and leak under sink on bathroom

Was a last minute trip with the kids for a tournament. We had never stayed here before. We were pleasantly surprised with the family rooms. New carpet throughout, nice and warm. Liked the loft bedroom for the kids. Comfy beds, large TV.Above all, super clean.

A little dated. The bathroom and shower were fine, just quite cold with the tiles and got very wet after showering.Would be lovely to see the pool/spa up and running in the summer. We would be keen to visit again.
