South Park Motel

The size of the rooms were wonderful. Cleanliness was beyond my expectations.

The Wi-Fi was horrible. Could not use my computer or phone and did not find anyone who could help with the problem. I would not recommend this motel for a business trip.

Staff were friendly and helpful

Bed was a bit uncomfortable and room was small with no wardrobe but otherwise ok

the room was a nice size. it was clean and tidy. the double bed was too soft for me, but the single was firm for me and my friend had the double. i requested a late check out and was offered 10:30am instead of 10:am without extra cost but would need to pay after 10:30am at $20 per hour which i thought was fair. But we left at 10am instead as we were up earlier than expected. so good.

maybe a firmer bed but my friend said it was fine - other wise no issues

Cleanliness and very comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. Loved the little treats. Live Dilmah tea

The tiny pottles of milk. Could provide larger milk. I bring my own porridge and drink quite a bit of tea with milk. Wasnt enough for two people.

Hard bed, poor maintenance of bathroom - had broken lino right where you step into the tired spa bath. Unfortunately had a power cut on arrival that lasted for about 4 and a half hours, no compensation offered, just an apology.

No breakfast was supplied. The location was good.

There was no facility to cook anything, except a microwave.

We had not stayed at South Park for quite some time, but we were instantly reminded of its close proximity to the main shopping area, only a few minutes drive and for a motel on the Main Road in and out of Masterton it was surprisingly quiet. Would be happy to stay there again.

We didn't have breakfast. Location was good it was easy to get to our destination. Very friendly and helpful manager thank you .

It was to hot to think about what I didnt like other than the room was very very hot would of been nice to have aircon on .

Needs some repairs such as wall paper peeling off. Shower curtain needed replacing. The joint in the bathroom Lino lifting

Very clean, modern, tidy unit.

Road traffic was noisy up until about midnight. Couple of maintenance items needed in bathroom.

The location was perfect for our stay - close to family, and services we were in Masterton for.

A refresh of the bathroom would be a huge advantage to the motel as it was not to the standard expected.

Bang for buck this was exactly what I wanted. I turned up later than expected and got a follow up call making sure I was coming and letting me know where to go and what to do etc, so that was much appreciated.

Not much. The heater was a bit asthmatic and took a good few hours to warm the place up, but hey, I think that's getting a bit fussy to be honest.

The property was close to town, on a Main Street with off streets parking but, super quiet at night. The family room was comfortable, warm and the staff showed us the room, the facilities and was super friendly.

When I rang the Motel from the station there were no taxis and the manager forwarded me the taxicontact number which I appreciated

It was a cold night and I didn't realise there was an electric blanket as the plug was hidden
