Apostles View Motel

Charming property out back with a little stream and lots of birds. Hostess was warm and welcoming. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner and breakfast. Easy to find.

A bit more rustic than we expected.

A few kilometers away from Gerymouth town, which maybe a concern for many, but we loved it. The drive to town was not that bad at all. Almost in the middle of grassy meadows with bushes surrounding the property. The staff were really kind and attentive - we were arriving late, so someone stayed back till 9pm.; provided us with chocolate milk powder, as that's my daughter's favorite drink. The unit itself had all the amenities and utensils to prepare a home-cooked meal. You can park just next to the unit, which made it really convenient.

Beds were a bit too soft and bouncy. The units are older, and some of the fixtures might need replacement. But not too much of a concern. The units have high ceilings with glass skylights, so if someone has issues with light coming in early in the morning, then sleep might be disturbed. Also, the unit we stayed is next to the SH, so vehicle noise, specially in the early morning hours is possible.

Spacious, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the room and had such a good sleep!

Large living great for families friendly host

Was very clean and warm and had everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Check in was very easy and lovely and friendly staff. Room was serviced and absolutely would use this motel again.

Very nice place to stay when exploring West Coast. Spacious, clean, well equipped place. Very helpful and friendly owner.

The place was incredibly clean, comfortable and had some great little details. Great location, but ideally need to have a car to get there as it's a little way out of town.We were only there for 1 night but would've happily stayed for longer. The bed was so comfy, great WiFi, heater provided, little communal garden and lots more. We were greeted upon arrival by a lovely women.

Lovely spacious unit that was very clean and tidy. Amazing value for money and perfect for families.

An older style of motel, but spotlessly clean and nice furnishings in the room. Good to have a separate toilet and there was air fresheners. Right by the road, but not too much traffic, so the noise was not a problem.

The TV was a bit tricky to work out. There was 2 concrete steps up to the room that were quite deep and narrow, I don't remember that being mentioned when I booked the room.

Nice clean comfortable units , only drawback for me personally due to my disability were the steps to enter , however I managed.

Very clean, large rooms, helpful nightlights. Quiet and peaceful

The unit was very spacious for the four of us. We liked having a full kitchen.

There was a leak in the roof above the kitchen and we had heavy rain . It didn't affect our stay at all but shows that the unit needs a little TLC.

I was not sure what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised. the owners where great and the room was more than i expected very clear and quiet I had a great night sleep. i will definitely stay again. And it is the first motel i have stayed at that also provided Netflix and prime a big bonus to my stay. Thank you

Beautiful little spot. Was a bit further out of town than what I anticipated, but that's a me a problem. However, it was absolutely worth it. Staff a friendly, check in was hassle free. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable. The whole location was a pleasure.

The room was comfortable, clean, and had tea and coffee making facilities.

Easy to find

No towels, had to go ask for them, not a big deal. The thing that I didn’t like was that the power to the refrigerator was off. Yes, I should have checked… but this was our 26th night in many, many NZ hotels and motels - and never was the power to the frig shut off- how long does it take to cool a frig down to keep food safe? They said that there had been a smell and they shut it off to air it out - and the door must have shut. If that’s the case- warn us when we arrive, or tape a note to the frig!! We threw away our spoiled food, and she gave me a thin ice pack to chill the food we were picking up to travel with.

Quite private and had everything we needed. Bed quite comfy.
