Riverside Hotel Marlborough

Nice big room. Tidy.

I booked thinking there was breakfast but the facility was closed.

Clean and tidy

Staff were super friendly, place was clean and spacious

There was nothing

Parking was good and refurbished rooms were clean and comfortable

The price was high for the rooms and the restaurant was not great

Best part was their Japanese Fusion restaurant. Parking was very convenient. A quiet stay. Clean.

No in room storage. No closet, just a funny metal eteger rack with shelves and a hook with 4 hangars. The view out glass door was unkempt landscape bushes with dead branches laying on gravel. About a 10 minute walk to commercial area. Limited counter space in bathroom with no storage.

The style the bar the restraunt the queen room recently renovated so clean and cozy. Lorraine she was so welcoming and helpful in every wayA stay to remember

Really friendly staff, very comfortable bed, all the basic requirements were covered, and it was very clean and tidy.

Nothing to say here

Fantastic stay in a comfortable quiet room. Really good value for money. Easy on site parking. We very much enjoyed the on site bar and restaurant.

The bed was a bit smaller and sorter than what we’re used to but we do have a firm super king at home. The night we went to the restaurant there was a lot of yelling coming from the kitchen which was very strange.

Parking, Restaurant on site though I didn’t get a chance to eat there. Proximity to town.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast great. Enjoyed the restaurant.

Was disappointed the pool was so cold, it says it is solar heated but would have been 16 degrees or less

Nice clean room with lovely attentive staff

Only thing that was uncomfortable was the bed, there were two hard lumps either side of the bed (most likely the electric blanket). Made sleep uncomfortable

Didn't have breakfast, the bed was so comfortable and large, and we appreciated the blackout curtains.

We would have liked a fridge with a small icebox for ice.

Willingness if staff to help and swap room to a free upgrade. Great location for town

Nothing other than outdoor pool too cold

Spacious room and comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff. Love the planting in the entrance way.

Bathroom really steamed up, needs better extraction.

Friendly staff and proximity to everything

The creaking noises from the alley are heard inside the room

Good location

The wifi was useless, ran out of hot water, & thought there would be atleast sky or Netflix to watch on TV.

Clean and tidy, friendly staff and great price

Close to town, my partner liked the restaurant

Coffee in room, cleanliness of bathroomLighting was minimal, odd shaped room with pokey bathroom, courtyard outside room messy and little privacy

Lovely room , comfortable bed excellent helpful staff

The staff were exceptional, very helpful and accommodating. The facilities and room were clean and well maintained. The on-site food and drink options are good with a bar and restaurant. The air-conditioning worked well which is essential for the location (It can get very hot by NZ standards.

The room didn't have much of a view and was quite dark. The bathroom was a bit dated. The TV was ok but only had the basic selection of Sky channels.
