Scenic Hotel Marlborough

True hotel experience. Staff was accommodating with my room service order and front desk was helpful with giving directions to the nearby (walking distance) pharmacy and grocery store.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location, close to everything. It’s only a short walk to the city centre, and we really enjoyed the Saturday market—it was awesome!!

We went.to the Scenic due to a cancelled flight, while enroute to the airport. Between the taxi driver and looking online, we decided to go to the Scenic. The front desk.manager was extremely helpful and very pleasant.

Nothing really but I always feel there might be something that everyone can improve upon.

Good location, quiet

King bed was worn out and slept like a hammock. Small led lights in the room were way too bright, making it hard to sleep

The food is good. The staff are friendly and accommodating

Short stay

Good size room and clean, comfortable.

Ground floor (room 27) patio doors opened onto driveway,/ street so no privacy from passersby unless curtains were drawn closed. The doors are only light source so had to put lights on during daytime. Original allocated room 29 but same issue in that room, chose 27 as preferred interior. Ask for an upstairs room next time.

The location was great. The room was larger than expected. The heater worked great in the room.

No heater in the bathroom and the bed was quite soft.

Great location, so close to town and river walks. We also enjoyed the spa and sauna.

Great size rooms. Clean and comfortable. Restaurant meals were fantastic.

Bed was a bit hard

Good to find a much needed laundry. Helpful reception staff who provided cash for the machines. Staff were friendly and helpful

A nice hotel in the centre of Blenheim. Good breakfast and helpful staff. We hade a nice room, well furnished clean and comfortable.

Bed was very bad. Extremely soft and uncomfortable.Bad night!

Lovely room, bed was comfy, very central and pool was a bonus.

Restaurant food wasn’t my favourite

Breakfast room was bright.

Breakfast was disappointing. Little fresh fruit. No granola. Unappetising hot buffet. No pastries at 8.00am on first day.

An easy walk into town and a short drive from the vineyards.

Our first room was not clean and we moved rooms. The second room was fine, but just fine. Could do with modernising and the beds were rather aged!
