    Pros +

    • Country life, relaxing away from the city life. The Spray tunnel was fantastic and my two grandsons enjoyed walking through the tunnel.
    • Location is convenient, just out of the Zeehan township and central to most of the west coast attractions. Parking is directly out front of you cabin which is nice. Kitchen has nice appliances for a cabin though the cookware could do with replacing, the non-stick coating on the pans were quite damaged which isn't very healthy. Heater in the bedroom is useful as is the aircon. I think it is priced slightly higher than what you get but with so few options in the area there is not much competition.
    • Everything is so good, clean and warm. Nice owner helped us with the journey plan.

    Cons -

    • Pitstop Cafe was not open for business.
    • - Large window in the bedroom did not lock shut and could be opened from the outside meant leaving our valuables inside while exploring didn't feel good. - Free wifi is offered but as we were in the furthest cabin signal did not reach our cabin. - The towel rack in the bathroom would fall if used and needs replacement. Overall the cabin is pleasant and usable for a day or two stay, I think a revamp of the interior would do some good and bring this place back to life. I would recommend a short stay here if passing through, though keep your expectations to a minimum.
    • All good.

Beautiful place to base ourselves whilst we dud day trips to see the West coast. Warm cosy comfortable, peaceful and friendly helpful park owners and staff

    Kitchen was well equipped.

the large height of the steps to the cabin door.Three steps instead of two would have been better.

Camp bbq by the camp fire pit was a great highlight of our stay.

Bunks not ideal for large adults but you are advised when you book so you can choose.

We stayed in a cabin & it was very clean & cosy. It had everything we needed for one night stay. The bed was very comfy & we had a great nights sleep. Would definitely recommend.

The lack of hand rail at the step going in & out of the cabin.

Very well equipped cabin in a nice and quiet bush setting. Friendly owners. It was a lovely stay.

    Tilted floors in the cabin.

Nice quiet cabin away from town

Camp management didn't like us walking around the camp without their permission. We were the only ones there, and I took a stroll around the empty tent camps. Within seconds, the camp commandant appeared to tell me that it was forbidden. Didn't leave me with a good impression of a relaxed bush camp.

Great location, nice and quiet. Felt safe and spread out. Clean cabin and a cosy night. Lovely proprietor who gave me heaps of local hot spots to visit around Zeehan.

We would love to have brought our own tents but otherwise a nice night between sleeping in our tent.

We liked everything about the cabin but the bunk beds were most uncomfortable.

Because my husband is a poor sleeper, he tried to sleep in the bunk bed, but found it uncomfortable. He said he did not sleep at all the night we had booked.

    9NataliePosted on: 1-5-2025

Friendly staff who accommodated late checkout. Cabin had all facilities needed.

Had everything we needed & was convenient.

Bed was too small & the towels had a funky odour. Some of the utensils were filthy.
