Wintersun Motel

Clean and warm room. Had all the expected amenities. Very impressive large bathroom.

Thick bath towels, comfortable mattress with no sagging. Extra coffee, tea, & milk available from friendly & informative manager. Fast Wifi, daily housekeeping to remove rubbish & replace towels, clean tablecloth on dining table. Plenty of pillows.

No face cloths, facial tissues, microwave, A/C, or curtain over twin bed. Shower curtain too short, so water splashes onto surrounding tile. Bathroom light is on timer & goes out every 5 mins (even when showering). Room a bit cramped from extra beds.

quiet location, friendly staff, amenities available

Great place. Had a very nice room and the staff were great.

No. Everything was great!

Well laid out room, clean and recently renovated

Not enough shelf space in the bathroom to hold toiletries and no place to put an open suitcase off the floor

It was so quiet and peaceful! The bed was so comfy, and it was so nice to have a sofa and two easy chairs to relax in.

Great location, easy to find. spacious room that had everything i needed. nice touches in the room which made it feel homely and welcoming. friendly staff and easy check in/out. parking right outside the room.

only thing to mention is that it was a little noisy due to thin walls with the people in the room next door arguing but nothing major.

Little recently renewed motel super close to the beach!

Noisy neighbours!

Spacious room with small balcony to sit outside. Nice decor. Comfortable bed. Expected road noise as room close to main road, but pleasantly surprised.

Very strong odour of bleach on arrival. This disappeared after a few hours with the window open and the fan on,

Good location, clean room (excluding bathroom).

Exhaust fan in bathroom inadequate, so bathroom ceiling had mould. The cabin wasn't cheap. Expecting customers to clean the room before leaving, under threat of extra cleaning fees, is not appreciated.

Lovely staff grounds are well looked after

Cabins are a bit dated but it takes time and money to get a business up to scratch

Have electric kettle, utensils, mugs, bowls and plates, wine glasses, toaster. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower.

Noise -- could hear rooms nearby when neighbor was talking on the phone, for example.

No breakfast offered. Location good.

No tissues in bathroom. No face washers available .Staff didn't want any contact with clients except for basic requirements. Consider them very unfriendly. Wouldn't stay their again.

Very nice Motel with a clean room an a comfortable bed. The bathroom was newly renovated. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend the place.

Very basic seld contained. Didn't think doing our dishes in bathroom hand basin is hygienic

Provide bowl to wash dishes. Explain basis self container

A great homely motel, with the most incredible host, the recently renovated rooms are so clean and comfortable .

The cabin was very spacious and clean. Great reception staff. The walk to town centre along the beach was lovely. Cabins were very quiet and bbq facilities were excellent.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Easy walk to town. Everything you need for an overnight stay.

What a great place to stay with a super friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, wonderful location near the beach and close to the center of town.. I would absolutely stay here again!

Not value for money

Terrible shower (shower head needs replacing). No face washers and only liquid soap provided. No tissues. Expensive.
