Bicheno by the Bay

Great location and very specious and comfortable accommodation.

Sink was slightly blocked in the downstairs bathroom and the upstairs toilet window sill was desperate need of a clean.

The quaint cabin on the beach was beautiful. The owners of the accommodation were really lovely and ensured we had a great stay. Highly recommend.

Incredible location, cute cottages, clean and nice

Location was right on the coast, just a hop down to the water. Fabulous location. Ease of access to the town by foot, tranquil, and just delightful.

Great location with access to short hikes and restaurants. The check-in process was enjoyable … and we were given personal suggestions of what to see and do during our brief stay.

Our unit needed a bit of updating and I was there was wi-fi and streaming available.

The preservation of nature of the surroundings was good. It was very cold when we were there and short time so we didn't really get to explore much of the area

Air seeping in through the wooden house /wall. It was cold and we didn't know that there was heated blanket (we are local). No WiFi services in the apt and data/network wasn't strong for Vodafone services.

The location was excellent, we had a sea view, and the resort was in easy walking distance of everything. The unit contained everything we needed for our stay, and it was very clean.

The cabins are very old but still comfortable.

Unable to connect to the wifi, that is a big negative. My sister and I had spent 3 days travelling spending each night in a different location. This accommodation was the most expensive and the poorest standard.

Location was amazing, short walk to town on one side, and very close on the other side to the rocky shoreline for whale watching and to watch the seabirds at sunset. Older style a frame cabin, with lots of charm. We had a lovely time on the deck, enjoying a wine and cheese, and admiring the birds. Lots of wildlife around including bandicoots, potoroos and even fairy penguins nesting under the cabin! Comfy bed. Loved our stay here

Amazing location within walking distance of the bay and beach. Appreciated the milk and tea/coffee in the kitchen and cute cabin.

Needed more hooks and bench space in the bathroom to place clothing, toiletries etc

very basic, light switches hard to find. light over bed needed a new globe. pillows were very high no option available in room

Cosy and full of character. Nice views and close to the coast. Can walk to the blowhole and to town centre. Clean and comfortable. It was windy outside but quiet and warm inside.

Location was perfect. Staff friendly.

Maintenance required. The floor boards need replacing on top level floor. Every step you take they creak. The bottom level bedroom was nice, but when staying with multiple people the noise of the floorboards creaking upstairs can certainly disrupt peoples sleep and atmosphere.A pest spray might also be due.

The room was clean and comfortable with the bathroom recently renovated. Was located close to many things. We enjoyed our stay there.

There was a slight water water leak in the toilet which we reported. The aircon / heater remote control was not intuitive.

Nice, spacious and comfortable. Nice sea view from the balcony, where the blowhole is visible. Good place to base for visiting freycinet and Denison beach nearby is nice too. Luckily we arrived during the day as it could be a bit hard to find the cottage in the dark the first time.

Had a great time. Close to ammenities and the view was outstanding.

The unit was very large, had a great bed and had disabled facilities in the bathroom. Its location within a few minutes walk of the Lobster Shack is wonderful.
