    Pros +

    • The room, stuck out the back, took us by surprise but we ended up loving it, - peaceful with lovely wintery garden surrounds. The fact that there was NO Reception at all and no other guests at all, also took us very much by surprise but we ended up loving this aspect as well. It was like we were staying in an old, abandoned estate. We ended up staying 2 nights and had a fabulous time exploring Westbury and surrounds.
    • Great stay at Fitzpatrick's, beautiful period building. The information and history available to read was great, I sat up and read it all which definitely made my stay more than memorable.Would have loved to have stayed with the girls when they owned it many many years ago.The beds were very comfortable with the only downside being that the queen size bed was creaky so every time my mum rolled over I woke up ( I am a very light sleeper though. The grounds were amazing and I had a visit from a fat Possum. Would definitely stay again if back in Westbury.
    • The hosts were fantastic, the rooms were lovely and location was handy for dinner at the pub and IGA across the road. Would stay again when in the area.

    Cons -

    • Arriving and finding your room is confusing. The room facilities are like it has not been finished and the wardrobe (while old) didn't even close but had something jammed in the door to stop it opening wide. No sign of anyone and we felt like it was an abandoned place, however there was a light on above the front of the building once dark.
    • TV remote had slow response time
    • The outside back door didn't lock. One of the coffee sachets was mouldy.

Great historic feel and well located.Room well appointed and bathroom excellent.Exceptionally close to public transport.Bed length was limited for a larger person. There was a lack of room to use appliances for our dinner. The garden was interesting but a little run down.No staff about but we managed to open the lock up box to gain entry

This property has so much potential but sadly it has been neglected. It is a beautiful and very old building with interesting history.

New bathroom. Beautiful garden and garden setting to sit and have a drink outside the room.

Fridge had no freezer. Water was difficult to access , we had to fill up water bottles using the electric jug to transfer water.

Wow, what a beautiful old Inn Fitzpatrick’s is. Really generous size rooms with ensuites. Huge TV in the main family room. Most definitely suitable for a large family or a traveling group of friends . An eighteen hundreds beauty !

The property could be a bit more appealing especially the doors could do with a bit of paint

The home itself was very nice but the unit carpet needs a good clean, as I wouldn’t walk on it with bare feet.

Very well appointed with crockery, cutlery in room. Lovely bathroom and towels. Little Moro bars included

Bed was missing a leg so when I sat on it it tipped over. No email was sent by operator with the code for the lockbox, and nobody on site. Had to borrow a phone to call. Lucky someone was able to answer - first number was busy.A branch fell down in the wind directly over the garden table I was sitting at. Some pruning necessary.Felt like the place was being run by remore control. Like a capsule motel.

Garden was awesome! Bunnies, chickens, wallaby and a sheep.Very peaceful environment. Rustic and quirky.Good communication and easy to find.

Squeeky bed, needed a fan as the room was very stuffy even with the doors open.

Fitzpatricks Inn is easy to find with plenty of parking. The ensuite bathrooms are lovely and new, and the shower is excellent. The owner is very accommodating. We had French doors opening into pleasant gardens.

We stayed in January, and the weather was warm and summery. Unfortunately, there are no windows that you can open. We would have liked to be able to open the window in the bathroom, but it was locked.

the gardens were beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable

Didn't see any staff at all. Had to ring to get a code for our rooms. Rooms were small and basic.

The staff and owners were wonderful. It was a beautiful historic site so don't expect big and modern. It was clean and comfortable with lovely gardens with great bird watching and it was great value for money.

I wish that we had been when the restaurant was operating as it had great reviews. We ate at the Empire Hotel in Deloriane though and it was great and they also offer a great platypus tour after dinner there.

Lovely stay in the heart of Westbury, in a pooch friendly room, 'Frank's Room', on ground level with car parking right outside our door. Our room had a modern 'disability friendly' bathroom with a full compliment of linen, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and heating. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided, along with toaster & microwave. The double bed was quite firm but ok for our one night stay (my partner & I are both older nurses with nurses backs ;). We loved that we could have our 18 mth old English Cocker Spaniel stay in our room, on her own bedding. The garden was expansive, good for exploring with our doggo.

Excellent location. Lovely historic building. Shower was awesome. Very clean and tidy. Had everything that you needed

Beds although comfortable, were a bit squeaky when you moved and woke the other person up when you moved. But it wasn’t a huge issue.
