TUI Blue Gardens - Adults-only - Savoy Signature

Great room with a beautiful view and always cleaned on time. The staff was very friendly.

We wish the jacuzzi had hot water instead of cold. ?

The room we had was lovely and we loved the facilities - the heated indoor pool was a nice plus. The hotel feels very boutique and green and in a great location. The daily activities were also fun. The view from the 7th floor terrace in the evening is magical.

The jacuzzi on the 7th floor would not heat up but we enjoyed the pool area. Didn’t really enjoy the breakfast selection so ended up eating outside most mornings

I enjoyed very much the upgrade, they have a problem with my room in this Hotel, so they sent us to the 5* Royal Savoy.

Spa and jacuzzi was far from each another, but jacuzzi has wonderful views

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, extremely comfy beds, nice pool area, beautiful roof top terrace, good selection for breakfast, very clean and large rooms.

Loud noise from aircon in the room even if the aircon is turned off, the restaurant staff look tired and unhappy (perhaps they are), coffee served for breakfast is tastless, during dinner time all the corridors of the hotel up to the top floor smell like fish, during breakfast time due to the lack of air circulation all the breakfast area smells like burnt toast, wi-fi was non-existent.

The friendliness of the staff was brilliant. Comfortable room, all the facilities we wanted, great gym and indoor pool. Outdoor pool and surrounding clean and great for catching the sun. Sea view too. Food largely buffet style but very good. Certainly stay here again.

Good location with great facilities. Lovely breakfast buffet, rooms comfortable and clean.

No tea and coffee in the room - provided by basic hotels so expected this as standard.

Lovely warm welcome after our flight was cancelled and we had to find somewhere to stay for 2 nights.

The drains smelt in the room the first night but I think that might have been due to the storm that had cancelled our flight.

We did not get the room we booked. The room we received was very dark and unpleasent. No seperate bathroom, shower and toilet were practicly in our room with only a small in between.

Doesn’t seemed like it belongs to savoy signature group. It’s very dated and it needs a refurbishment badly. Toilet/bathroom had a weird strong smell of something rotten in the pipes. Mould on shower head, mould on soap dispenser which we haven’t used as we weren’t sure how old is the soap inside. This seemed like budget hotel not savoy and we just got back from Saccharum savoy in caletha with was amazing so in comparison unfortunately tui gardens left sour taste. On the positive note, staff was amazing, very polite and attentive

We were send to the savoy palace , so it was a big upgrade for us since the room we booked in the tui blue was ‘ broken ‘ as they said

Nothing to say that I didn’t like

We had a nice room, very spacious with a great view. The front desk staff were helpful and prompt. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the rooftop bar was excellent with gorgeous views of Funchal.

The price seemed steep for what you got. The air conditioning wasn't working well the first two days and then completely stopped working after that. It was only after asking the front desk for a standing fan (which they didn't have), that we learned the AC was out for the whole building. We didn't receive any consolation for this and it was very uncomfortable at night in a still, hot room. Our other main complaint was the food. While there was a lot of it and the breakfast buffet was included in the room price, the food quality was poor. We unfortunately didn't like the taste of much of it.

Very clean, the staff were all really friendly. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was a really good with a good variety of food to choose from. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful hotel, big pool, kind staff, delicious breakfakt and also rooftop hot tub with exceptional view. You can enjoy drinks and food in the pool bar. Hotel also offers activities for free like yoga, wine tasting, live music, sometimes in the evening it is possible to watch movie next to the pool.. There is also gym, indoor pool and sauna. You can also enjoy great massage (35€/30min).

Parking is not included in price, it costs 8€/day.

Big pool. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast selection. Nice facilities, with the pool room and so on. Location not bad, can walk into town.

It's crazy that the pool closes at 6pm. That's the loveliest time of day to use the pool, when it's not so hot. The cleaners could leave more than one toilet roll in the bathroom, we were close to running out. Poor coffee- cappuccino is a powder sachet and you make it up yourself, it was horrible. A 4 star hotel could do better, it just feels like a way to save money.

lobby smells of fried food every evening;paid parking 8€ per day, small outdoorparking lot which opens with buzzer, and if filled up must park in front of hotel

Friendly staff -especially one of the receptionist and one of the bartender main floor, that I unfortunately forgot names-, standard rooms are.. standard, but good enough. There is enough entertainment around to not spend much time in your room anyway, between the swimming pool, the jacuzzi, bars and so on.breakfast is excellent. A good place to have a lavish time for a really affordable price.

the balcony is really small in standard rooms. But they cannot really fix that, and anyway at least there is one.
