I was hoping to have a better variety of food at dinner and breakfast.
Almost everything. Staff was great, the food was great, the location was good, and the facilities were amazing.

Everything was excellent! The room was very clean, nice sea view, the beach very close to us, pleasant neighborhood with spa and thermal pools, very nice park at a short distance, altogether very nice resort. An extra thought about the park around hotel: very clean very beautiful, professional architect at its origin, admirable
I don't know, I'll think about, just to write you something
Location, breakfast and dinner food (you can buy dinner if you did not book it, it's buffet and it's very good). Nice spa with good treatments, great to also have access to Aqua House thermal (lots of mineral water pools, saunas) - especially on a rainy day. Nice view of the sea, large room.
Not the cleanest - on one day, the room was not made up at all and when we asked about that, we were told bluntly that it was a busy day and they would clean on the following day (they seem understaffed, but as a guest it is not my fault, I'd expect a kinder attitude). On the last night, there was a dog in the room next to us that barked for around 2 hours because it had been left alone. We called reception several times because we couldn't sleep and only around 1.30 am they managed to determine the owner to return to the hotel and calm the dog down. It is not their fault, but they should have clearer policies about pets - pets cannot be left alone in a hotel room...
The location, updated facilities, pools and access to aqua house. The restaurant is nice and the food is plentiful and good quality overall.
The staff (except for the restaurant) and especially the towel service as well as the lack of cleaning. Our sheets were changed only 1 time during a 10 day trip and that was because we went to the front desk. We were told they change the sheets every other day. This never did not happen! As per the towels, we were told that they can be changed once per day. Every single day we were told that it’s not possible, this conflict is unnecessary. The staff is rude at the spa, aside from the fact that they don’t speak languages.
Good location, very nice surroundings, garden and pool. Clean and comfy rooms, well organized breakfast, a wide selection of cold and hot meals, however it can be improved for dietary restrictions options.
Coffee could be better, for a 5star I am expecting a proper cappuccino. The parking should be free, included in the price of the room (since it's not at all cheap).
This place is breathtaking! We loved the wonderful atmosphere, design, and customer service. There was a lot of variety in the breakfast options, and everything was so delicious! We also loved the desserts at the lobby bar. This definitely became one of our favorite places that we plan to visit again in the future. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
Excellent location and clean & comfortable room and bathroom. Monty restaurant situated at the reception level not to be missed. Good breakfast, good Wi-Fi signal and underground parking place were included in the room price. Complementary access as guest of Astor to the Aqua house (thermal area) was very welcoming. Outside heated pool (25 m length x 20 width and 1.2-1.5 m depth) offered us an excellent opportunity to swim and enjoy the great outside weather (1 lane dedicated for swimming).
Outside swimming pool needs more attention and needs to be refreshed and cleaned more often.
Out of season it is a decent business hotel for Varna with own parking lot. It is close to the beach and Aqua House Spa (we got free entry), thus offering also opportunities to relax.
The staff was very nice ,friendly and professional
I haven't like the spa center actually they have a picture with a huge spa center but is not part of the hotel you should go out from the place to go the public spa center, they have some facilities but they are very small, so I can say not good wellness area
the massage was amazing!! monty restaurant also great
the first 2 nights there weren't a lot of guests, and it felt like the food wasn't great. later when more guests stayed, it felt like there's an improvement in the food.
Always love the location and very close to the Aqua thermal spar. 2 minutes walk. The hotel grounds and reception area are beautiful.the hallways leading to the rooms is somewhat tatty carpets are stained. Room was better than last time. Also good if your a coffee drinker as they have a coffee machine. Not so good if your a tea drinker like myself. The service in the Monty restaurant is superb however the food was really poor the first time we ate there. We went half board but decided to eat from the Al la carte menu. The dinner was cold and not much flavour. We ate there again on a second occation and the food was much better although not a great deal of choice so we ate out most evenings. The first day was much better when we ate in the main restaurant but I am assuming that due to not many people being there in February they sent us to the smaller restaurant for the remainder of the weekSt constantine and helena is beautiful I have been there many times and the hotel has a lot of positves. Close to beaches for the summertime.Reception staff were efficient.
It's the second time I've stayed in the hotel. I wouldn't stay there again. It's nice but not 5 star. The main restaurant where you eat breakfast overlooks the gardens which is lovely. However whilst the staff at breakfast are curtious it's difficult to eat your breakfast without them coming to the table constantly to remove the plates even if you put a knife down they assume you have finished with that piece and are there. The water was turned off on one occasion I had just managed to shower but there was no warning. Cleaners were really noisy in the mornings outside the rooms. Woke us on 2 separate occasions.
Our second time here and everything was great. (accommodation, cleanliness, staff, etc). Even the food was excellent and very diverse, even though it was the end of January and the hotel didn't have so many gusts. But they respected the quality nonetheless.

Big, clean room, with comfortable bed and fabulous sea view. Good food, with enough variety and plenty of fruits and vegetables. The gardens and the whole area are beautiful and well kept even off season.
The overall smell of the hotel and individual rooms could be improved.
Very large and comfortable rooms, nice sea view, very clean rooms, silent hotel. The breakfast and and dinner food was pretty good, I don't complain, tasty and lot of choices. We also had plenty of parking spots.
Keep in mind that during dinner they don't include any drinks. You don't have even water, which is disrespectful for guests and kids and you have to pay for bottled water at the price of 5* hotel.Indoor pool is very small, with max 10 chairs, that can get busy all the time, if you stay there in a very crowded period. Also, the outdoor large pool is a big scam, the water temperature is cold for having a bath, especially for the kids. So this is a fake commercial(it is partially heated, but not hot enough for using it when outside there are less than 20 degrees)We had to pay for getting access to Aquahouse Health Spa place, aprox 90 leva(with discount) for 2 adults and 1 child( here we really enjoyed more than 10 indoor and outdoor heated pools).
Clean, spacious room, comfortable bedNice staff
The hotel pool is quite small and it is a little bit uncomfortable to walk to Aquahouse(acces free for hotel guests) when it is cold outside. Also Aquahouse is quite crouded especialy during weekends. The breakfast food is rather poor quality
Hotel grounds and the nearby beach which is very safe for children.
Reception staff which was rude and not really willing to help.help.They lied about their availability to prolong our stay..but we had the last word with the help of booking.com.
Warm rooms in chilly weather so it was very comfortable. Staff was great as ever (just one lady at the reception was having a bad day, maybe). Food was very good and diversified. Excellent service at the restaurant. Always come back here with an open heart. Management has done an excellent job!
Access the the Aqua House and Thermal. Low occupancy when we were there. Peacefulness.
Cleaning lady entered room even though we put the card with “do not disturb” out on the doorknob.
