Grand Hotel Shumen

We stayed at this hotel in transit to Greece. It was a good choice. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own parking, a quality restaurant, and the breakfast is very ok.

Location of the hotel is very close the city center. Hotel has a parking area as well. It also has some markets around which you can get snacks or drinks.Staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice and one of the best I have ever been in the city so far.Breakfast buffet is above average when compared with other hotels in Shumen and more than enough.

The hotel covered most of my expectations. Only remark I can add will be for sheets, which are clean but some were old and had some spots. I travel a lot so it didn't bother me a lot but can bother some visitors.

restaurant foods are 5 star , also the breakfast is very good and the rooms are well heated and comfortable. Bathroom is renovated and good.

they change the towels but they dont clean or make up the room

A great one night stay after a day of travelling and site seeing, the reception staff were really friendly on check in and the breakfast was really plentiful and tasty.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms clean and very nice and the people from the hotel are extremely nice and friendly, we came in the early morning at the day of our check in and the woman at the receptiom let us come earlier into our room. 100% recommended for stays in Shumen.

Hotel is in very goos location. Easy to arrive, there is a free parking spot. Staff were helpful.

Room was not clean enough, in the bathroom flor there was a woman hair. Probably it was comes from previous guest which is used the room.

Renovate in some parts compared to my previous visits. Nicely set for Christmas

I was staying 2 days, I did not appreciate that the room was not cleaned and tidied up it should be due in a 4 stars hotel

It was clean

There was no running water for a hole day. The hotels solution did this problem was offering me a bucket to wash in and so I could flush my toilet. I left after only 3 days and haven’t had any of my complaints addressed. Very disappointed.

Good breakfast, comfortable bed, TV with several English channels. Parking was available although as there was a function on when I arrived this was a little limited, but fine later on. Hotel well-located for main town and some historical sites.

Hotel a little dated in appearance from the outside but fine inside.

Room is big, nice and the bed is very comfortable.The restaurant is nice and very good.People are very pleased and give me some help for the online Bulgarian toll payment, very appreciated.

There is an odd smell in the room. The air conditioner was working but not too well. There was an issue either the parking since there was a wedding going on.

Great location near the pedestrian zone in the city centre. The room was large. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. There is a parking.

Location of the hotel was good. It's a old hotel but rooms were ok an big enough. Breakfast was moderate but thats ok, there were couple of things delicious.

I had problems with the electric system in the room. My card didn't work card electric holder which is providing energy in the room. Technical guy change the whole thing in the room.

Excellent clean the staff very polite and respectful.I will visit again
