- I had a fantastic time here. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for your money.
- A charming place, the hotel has an unforgettable atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. The room with a private terrace and a small pool provided us with the peace, quiet and privacy we were looking for. From the terrace a beautiful view of the surroundings and the sea. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff only speaks Spanish, but they are really nice and make every effort to communicate, personally for me it only added more charm to this place and I could feel the atmosphere that surrounded me even more. In the room a fridge and a coffee machine, no kitchen and kitchenware, except for coffee cups and a spoon, maybe it's obvious, but worth mentioning. Delicious breakfasts, definitely worth 12e, the rest of the dishes on the menu were also very tasty, although I didn't manage to try everything. I recommend
- Incredible views from private, on roof terrace.Good restaurant, with tasty breakfasts.Nice looking, vintage style, renovated building.Staff was very kind, despite not speaking in English much.
Cons -
- Driving to hotel is difficult, extremely narrow roads with misleading signs. The water pressure was very low on the mornings, sometimes even completely stopping flow, when trying to take a shower.
- If you use google map to get there you will want to kill the idiot giving you instructions. Beware the sharp right turn at the top of the hill and go straight and turn around. Try to get there before dark the first time.
- It was quite difficult to find. Water pressure for shower too low in morning.

The hotel is an eclectic mix of the old ( 1866 founding) and the new. Arriving at night is an enchanting visual light show as you walk up the path to the hotel. The entire staff are great ( mostly familia) and very attentive to customer needs. Great views for dining of the volcano and Atlantic. The meals are outstanding and the breakfast (desayuno) will last all day. If you want a unique experience that is off the beaten path this is it.

House was charming with beautiful furniture. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Spacious, comfortable and quiet.
We loved everything! The staff was very nice and accommodated us with such kindness. Most importantly, the place completely surpassed our expectations! We got a room with a terrace and it was huge. We had a full 360 view from the terrace to the ocean and the mountains. The room also had a TV, free WiFi and was overall very cozy.
This place is absolutely stunning. You will never get bored with the views, decor and relaxing facilities. The room we had had a front door and back entrance with terrace area. We had a TV and fridge which was great. The hot water was super hot. The food was fabulous and excellent value. The staff are the nicest people who cant do enough to help you. We will be back to stay again.
There was no fanThe bathroom tap on the bath leaked so the floor was wet. Both very minor things and did not affect our stay dramatically.
Very authentic place to stay, great views and silent surroundings. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. There is a parking in front of the house, and areas in the garden to sit and chill outside
The breakfast is not worth it, very basic and overpriced
Beautiful old building, surrounded by a garden, very friendly people, nice comfortable room with its own tarrace.
very poor breakfast. We paid 24 euros for breakfast for two people. we got a piece of bread, one omelette, butter, a tomato, some fruit and yogurt. No cheese or ham..
It is a small hotel with only 5 rooms, steep entrance, garden with pool and animals. We had a good size room with on both sides, the front and the rear, seating outside with table and umbrella. So it is very convenient to find a good spot in the sun or shade and enjoy the panoramic view to the mountain. Coffee machine with capsules available and water kettle.
We did pre-order a dinner and that was a mistake because they did not have a cook or they did not bother to cook something decent. We paid Euro 20-30 per person and that was a waste of money. A pity and therefor we cancelled the breakfast. Next morning we saw people enjoying the breakfast which looked ok.
Cozy and clean. The garden is lovely.
It wasn't easy to get there at night.
Quiet location, nice place to spend with family as there’re many interesting fruits trees and farm chickens. The room is clean and will be cleaned on daily base. The roof top terrace has nice view.
The hot shower water were not enough for our family of 5 people on the second night as there were other guests in the building.
That’s an amazing place for a short stay. The area is nicely decorated and rooms are comfy. Views from the terrace are amazing. Although staff speaks only Spanish, they were always kind and hospitable.
There was no hot water in the morning.
a fantastic fairytale place, a jungle in the middle of a desert area! The whole area is drowning in greenery, there was a papaya tree with fruits near our room, there are also a lot of fruit trees in the area, from which the hosts prepare breakfasts and fantastic smoothies, please try their mango smoothie, it's fantastic! the view from our terrace was amazing! The breakfasts and cuisine are unsurpassed!
after these incredible smoothies, I can't drink any other smoothies anymore because none of them can compare to the hotel ones
Phantastic location, super kitchen, nice and friendly hosts! I will be happy to come back soon!!!
Very original hotel, great location for short holiday. Nice l9kal food , good breakfast. Some facilities for kids. For hikers: no one will be borred. The owners do a lot of efforts to welcone people well

Charming, authentic, hospitable and memorable stay. Booked suite with rooftop veranda. Arrived late but chef cooked us a great meal before bed. Got up early to see the sunrise then had a great traditional breakfast before we had to set off for the north.
