Pros +
- Cozy and nice staff - amazing views!
- Charming Old World-style hotel that was elegant and comfortable, with a sedate and lovely atmosphere.
- Spectacular location. Staff is wonderful. Bed comfortable, shower good. Love the pool & sauna
Cons -
- There was a very frequent banging noise like a shutter or window being blown by the wind. The hallways are very echoing and you can hear lots of slamming doors. Maybe some rubber sound stoppers would help for room and closet doors.
- The hotel is getting old and needs a bit of renovation at various places. Breakfast is quite basic.
- Food at this location left a lot to be desired. Was served a raw hamburger. When asked to have it cooked more, so not pink, they tried again but still returned an undercooked burger to the table.

We particularly liked the location of this hotel which is very close to the Teide cable car. The restaurant has a nice menu for the dinner.

The location is unique. The staff was very friendly and explained everything attentively. Facilities are clean and comfortable.
Location excellent, and having somewhere to part the car helped deal with the general lack of parking in the park.

We loved this place. perfect location for 48 hours in Teide National Park and right next to Roques Garcia hike and 10 minute drive from the Volcano and cable car. Food was fantastic at the resturants.
nothing. its perfect
Beautiful location with mountains surrounding. Restaurant had amazing food and room was spacious and cozy with great view. Interior is beautiful, gave me a good nostalgic feeling and I like how the place was totally different vibe from coastal hotels.
A lot of stuff members didn't speak english and were confused what they were asked for. There was a lot of confusion how to use the pool outside and where the entrance is. When we came in, the lights were off and the water was cold. Bathroom felt dated.
The location was perfect. It was great to take a shower and rest after a day of hiking, without having to drive back to another city.
The receptionists were friendly and good. However, the restaurant staff were really unfriendly and could not speak English very well. We found it hard to communicate. We wanted to order coffee from the bar but the waiter told us that they don't have coffee. Then we insisted and said that it's in your menu, and he accepted to give us a coffee finally. The price of the food also doesn't match with the value.
Obviously the views of Tiede. The Parador is actually pretty good inside and is well placed in the surroundings. The rooms are as expected and the views are great. As with other comments the surprise was the attitude of the staff who were at best sullen and not engaging. The food in the restaurant at dinner was poor and the staff uncaring. Breakfast was better. All in all take on board what I have said and you will not be disappointed. What I do not understand is why the management of this hotel do not take on board customers comments and improve the staff attitude and dinner. This should be a gem of a hotel, the landscape is amazing.

Receptionists were very supportive e.g. deposit of my bag after my checkout for another day or organising a lunch bag instead of breakfast due to early leave
The price of 284€ for 1 night is really high especially if one can’t use the facility offerings, otherwise it’s the only hotel in this special area
LocationTranquility
Breakfast very poorDiner ok but chef should take some cooking curses
Amazing location!! Big room, kettle in the room, good breakfast buffet with quite a variety of dishes and one hot dish to be ordered. Restaurant with a view. Warm inside, even though very cold outside.
You can't beat the location.
Breakfast was expensive and not many choices. Hotel was expensive but I understand due to it's location in the park.
A lovely stay in a special location. Staff were very pleasant. A magical experience.
A little expensive. Do not book with evening meal included as it is cheaper to order on the night. Cured ham was not available on the night but was at breakfast??? Not enough waiting staff on during the day.
The location, within the caldera of Mt Teide, is amazing Comfortable and well-keptFriendly reception staff
Location amazing at base of Teide beautiful view from bedroom window
Maybe few more dinner options or change the menu
Our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel and it won't be our last. Amazing views of Teide from the room, the sunny terrace and the dining room. It's a great base for exploring the National Park during the day and star gazing at night. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was good with plenty of vegetarian options.
Nothing really.
Excellent location and good bar, cafeteria and swimming pool. Very helpful staff.
Door key didn’t work so had to return to reception. Shower door over the bath did not fit so floor got slightly wet. Beds not comfortable.
This is our 3rd stay over a period of 20 years, We always look forward to it as a highlight to our Tenerife holiday. The Hotel is a classic. Fine cotton on the beds, beautiful wooden floors and the most magnificent view possible. The dining room has table clothes and a warming fire in the bar. The housekeeping staff are wonderful, always smile and say hello, and keep the rooms and common areas lovely.
I am quite sad about what is going on at the Parador. The serving staff don't seem to be interested in the guests, they almost seem to resent our visit. We did get a welcome, once the reception staffs conversation was over, and then they were all smiles. The restaurant staff were dismissive and not particularly helpful. The evening meal was a bit of a trial. There is a distinct lack of vegetables. This should be a showcase for the islands produce, but the menu is unimaginative, poorly cooked and almost rudely delivered. The dining room is also brightly lit like a school canteen, and the music is the stuff of nightmares. On our visit 10 years ago, they had a great taster menu, and hosts who were interested in showing off the local cuisine, I know this as I made a note in my travel journal.
