Hotel New Derby

I stayed at this hotel for almost a week and was generally very satisfied with my experience. The location is excellent and convenient for reaching local attractions and public transport. The hotel offers good value for money — although the interior appears a bit dated, it provides all the necessary facilities and comfort for a pleasant stay. The staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Overall, a reliable choice for a comfortable and well-located stay.

the carpet is quite dirty, the refrigerator is not functional (it was not plugged in), you do not have water or other drinks in the room.

Friendly staff, quite large rooms, a view of the city, balconies, it is possible to park a car. You can order breakfast and it will be prepared just for you, everything was fresh and tasty.

Clean & Spacious room

They could not provide a single glass of water during summer. You have to go across the street and buy it yourself and then the fridge in the room was not plugged in, probably to save money.

Good value for the money, safe and comfy enough. Limited on-street hotel parking places, but others are free of charge during the night. Simple but adequate breakfast.

Very spacious room, with a nice bilateral view and a balcony. Excellent area, very close to lots of attractions and amenities, like grocery stores, restaurants, beach etc.Helpful reception personnel.

At times, it could get a bit noisy at night as the room is facing the street, but nothing too bothering.

The hotel is small but quiet one. Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfty. Staff was always willing to help. They have 4 parking spaces, and around the hotel there are enough spaces (with a small fee or free) to park.

Staff and location. Also, the bedsheets were clean and the view was nice.

No one cleaned the room after we check in. Soap in the bath - not quality at all. No other supplies in the room (water, shower gel, etc).

No breakfast, the dust from the stadium enters through the ventilation provoking coughs.

The room was clean. I would recommend to add some extra blankets for the months when it is still cold. Ask for a room on the first floors, as there is no elevator.

One of the ladies from the reception was rude and careless...together with the lady in the basement-restaurant they were team "no".Breakfast was not good at all. Don't recommend it, only if you don't have other options, the price is cheap - 30lei.

Car Parking, Good Location.

I couldn't turn on the air conditioner on cooling mode, despite of the weather was hot during my stay there. And when i asked about that, they told me that in this period of the year all the AC in the hotel can be just on heating mode.

Carpet needs good thorough cleaning. it’s clean but dusty.

I was charged 10€ extra than it said on the Booking app. It said click here to pay 40€ and it took 50€ from my account.

The staff are particularly friendly. The bed is also very comfortable.

The street the hotel is on can get a bit noisy if you're a light sleeper.
