The AC was quite noise during the night.

Location is great and the staff was absolutely amazing.

It's an old building in need of renovation and modernisation. It also smells bad and the paint is chipping away here and there. The furniture is a complete nightmare... It may have historic value but when travelling, one may want to be pragmatic, not live in a museum.Breakfast is just OK. The boiled eggs were fresh on the first day because I asked for fresh eggs but, for some reason, they boiled so many that they had to serve them the next day as well. And we could not actually make our small child eat that.

Great area to stay, close to public transportation and attractions, classic architecture, friendly staff.

No coffee in the room, room too little for a 4 star hotel, blinds in the room shall be improved, bed too narrow.

super modern, well-built place, a 5-minute walk to the sea. Super quiet, great kitchenette - no electronic stuff or sensors to mess up - just an old fashioned key and light switches ... great view of the garden and surrounding fields, indoor pool

Nothing against the hotel, but this location is way off-the-grid, for people looking for peace and quiet ... it's just a small seaside town with some restaurants, but beautiful spot on the Black Sea, about an hour-and-15-minutes north of Varna.

Excellent location for what we wanted. Beautiful decor in the general areas.

Rooms were not serviced or checked for toiletries daily. Shower was loose and water escaped onto bathroom floor.

The location, size of the rooms and the breakfast were all amazing. The TV in the room had some amazing channels and I got to watch all the football I needed to watch!

The WiFi is basically non-existent. Once you close the room door, the signal is completely gone. They seriously need to do something about that.

Stay away

Passport was stolen from the room, was only cleaned the day before passport was there and next day was gone. Management were unreceptive to acknowledge any responsibility. Ruined what should have been a great trip

Friendly staff and breakfast in the room possibile

The room was maximum 3 stars, old aspect, it really needs an update. The phone is ancient and reception hardly picks up.The bed is at breaking point.As it is close to a main boulevard, there is a lot of noise.

The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. A big tv and very good WiFi. The staff was very friendly . They allowed me to stay in the room free of charge as I was not feeling well till 3.30 when I left for the airport to travel back to UK. Big thank you to the night and day receptions. The breakfast was lovely plenty selection of food just to give you energy and a good start of the day. I highly recommend this hotel. Great location and very good value for money

Everything was great

Helpful and pleasant staff at reception , Good size room and a comfortable bed . Nice TV , It was a smart TV although it largely failed to connect to the wifi unfortunately, possibly just a temporary wifi issue . Room was well cleaned throughout my stay . Perfectly adequate for my purposes .

The Hotel looked a bit tired , worn carpets , some lights not working , pool out of service , lift out of service , mismatched plumbing fittings etc. No tea/ coffee facilities in room , no room service or wifi details in the room . Breakfast was disappointing with no tea/coffee/juice/milk available on two of the three days . I guess perhaps this was a timing thing although never saw more than one other quest at breakfast and i usually went between 7.30-8 so not exactly at the end of the window .

Disappointing

The room that we were initially given, had a problem with the windows, you could hear every car that passed by, the plumbing smelled horribly, and the heating in the room was not working.There was a party in the hotel, which we were not told about, and they blasted the music till 3 AM.

Central location, clean, comfortable, great breakfast, friendly staff

Perfectly located, beautiful old building, exquisitely restored and maintained, large rooms, beautifully decorated and very clean, abundant, tasty breakfast, competent, friendly staff creates a warm atmosphere and makes you feel at home.

it was a very pleasent gateway with a rich breakfast, who include a lot of variety and a very nice staff

Location. Large TV in the room. Breakfast was varied and nice. Room had a balcony.

The hotel is old and dated. The room we had was on the 4th floor and the lift only goes up to 3rd floor. The room looked and felt unclean. The bed spread was dirty. The bathroom is in need of renovation. One of the sinks was cracked. The jacuzzi was so dirty I didn't even attempt to use it. The bathroom had a really unpleasant smell perhaps from the sewage system. The entire hotel needs renovation and it is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Perhaps a 3 star at its best. Also the cleaner tried to claim that we used a chocolate and a wine bottle from the minibar which were missing in the first place probably because she didn't replace them before we checked in. Disappointed and will not book again.
