    Pros +

    • Nice and clean facility. Decent size room. Great breakfast!
    • Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, nice lounge. Good breakdown. The room was a bit small, but spacious enough. The bathroom had a shower and a separate bathtub, which was really nice, however the sink was in the bedroom, which was a bit strange. Overall, very comfortable and positive stay.
    • Very grand hotel….nice and clean

    Cons -

    • Too far from Tokyo.
    • We checked out very early and as premier was in a different building than the main so there was a bit of hassle during checkout that has to be done only at the main building.
    • Air conditioner inside the room cannot be adjusted. Whether on or off. Felt a bit suffocated bcs of the less fresh air. Expecting a staff could help with our luggage bcs I’m holding a baby and toddler is around but none. For a 5-star hotel is a bit let down.

Convenient parking garage, easy check in, spacious lobby, lounge, and hotel rooms. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a decent variety. Location was the best part.

The room was excellent - one of the best that I have experienced in Japan. I was fortunate to see Fuji-san at sunset, which is possible from a high floor, if you know where to look. The after 5 PM free wine service was a delight that I did not expect. The snacks that went with it were uninspired.

The hotel is advertised as 5 star, but they do not have laundry service. Do not go there expecting it. I was instructed to go to a shopping mall to a cleaning shop. This worked out ok, but they do not do do underwear. The 1st floor reception hall looks like is is from a French Louis XV style from a nightmare, but the dining area and customer rooms are quite tasteful. My guess is that the hotel's business model and "appeal" is to host Japanese European-style faux weddings.

Stayed for the second time. Convenient location. Easy access to the airport (bus takes you to the hotel next door). Right by the train station. Many restaurants, shops, and park nearby. Clean room with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Not a big issue but would be nice to have free weights at the gym.

    9TomonoriPosted on: 10-9-2025

Great location. Close to a JR station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Next to a park.

Breakfast could improve. More options would be nice. Gym can also improve.

Staff was excellent, super nice. Customer service was great. Front desk staff are awesome!! Hotel facilities are acceptable. Delicious complimentary breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable. Location is excellent next to train station, supermarket, restaurants, park and Japanese garden.

Most rooms and floors are hot with air conditioning not working well. VERY DISSAPOINTING during summer. We had to move to another room because the first room's a/c has no temperature control. The 2nd room on the 5th floor had temperature control which was comfortable. According to the hotel not all rooms have individual temperature controls. This is very odd and inconvenient.

    Clean and convenient location

You can hear the JR trains when they pull into the platform.

I stay at the Makuhari Prmier often. The rooms are clean, modern and unique each time I stay. Staff is fantastic. Enjoy the lounge dining.

There is nothing I don't like about this hotel. Love it

I've recommended this hotel to my friends and family, and if I could recommend it to everyone I know, I would in a heartbeat. Kaihin Makuhari already has a special place in my heart because of its clean, safe, and accessible neighborhood. It is close to Tokyo, and you can find great onsen, a huge Aeon mall, great restaurants/entertainment, and everything else in the area. This new hotel is right in front of the Kaihin Makuhari train station (barely a 5-minute walk from the North exit), multiple conbini's around, and is brand new. From the moment you step into the hotel, it smells amazing, and then the kindest staff member assists you to check in. I've stayed here twice this year already, and both times they were kind enough to upgrade our rooms - I've never had this type of treatment, so it genuinely made both me and my partner feel so special. I can't stress this enough, the staff here are the most professional, kind, accommodating people ever. The rooms are nicely remodeled, and SO CLEAN. It is spacious in comparison to a lot of standard Japanese hotels, and the beds/pillows are also very comfortable. Amenities were great, and even the shampoo/conditioner provided in the bathroom made my hair feel insanely smooth. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast, along with afternoon tea time and a small snack/drinks at night in their lounge area. They are so generous with their food/drink services, and everything was fresh. I truly have no complaints from my stays at this hotel, and the staff were all truly amazing people. I already plan on staying here for my future visits, and I won't even consider staying anywhere else because they set the standard so high.

Rooms, breakfast, space cleanliness, value and proximity to bus/train station.

    10ElizabethPosted on: 4-25-2025

Extremely clean, friendly staff, close to railway station and a beautiful hotel.

Nothing except the pillows were a little hard

    7DebraPosted on: 4-23-2025

    Close to Makuhari Messe

Reception to check in was closed when we arrived. No sign to say need to go to sister hotel next door to check in. Need signage

Great location next to train station, restaurants, and shopping. Great breakfast and all day refreshments.

It was very warm in the corridors and hallways, but that may be for energy saving.

    10scottbeaucheminPosted on: 4-22-2025

The location is great. Short walk to the train station and bus station. The room size is nice. Room was pretty quiet Bathroom is super nice. It's a great location to easily get around. There's a couple of malls near by, even a costco.

Staff does not assist with anything. While the hotel receives luggage, they do not ship luggage nor do they assist in helping you ship luggage. They don't help ship packages. They don't help setting up any kind of travel (ie car service to airport or taxi). If you order food for delivery, they do not assist driver in getting you the food. You need to wait downstairs for the food. Breakfast is open from 7a-10a but I would say it's more like 7a-9:30a because around 9:30a, the cook will stop making stuff and you will be asked to hurry up around 9:50a. Weird design choice, they have the sink in the sleeping areas instead of the bathroom area. Even with these negatives, I still liked the hotel an would recommend it. Just be aware of the negatives.

Peaceful retreat from the nearby convention. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Lovely view of the incoming trains and foot traffic of the train station nearby, just far enough away to not be noisy. Delicious breakfast.

No pool or onsen located on the property

New hôtel, very clean, and walking distance to station, to many stops and restaurant. Direct bus to Narita airport for 1200 Y per person, 35 minutes ride.
