    Pros +

    • Amazing hotel for the price. Room was gigantic by Japanese standards and onsen was simply terrific. Also . . . fast elevators !!
    • Nice and large room, comfy bed. Nice and helpful staff(though some cannot speak good English). Excellent outdoor onsen and sauna.
    • Spacious room, comfy bed, big bathroom. Great outdoor onsen, nice and friendly staff. Convenient store and supermarket just across the street. Donki store is very next to the hotel

    Cons -

    • Serviceable but that is all. The bed had feather blankets, the hotel was far both from Messe and the train station that would take me to it – next time I would prefer to stay in the city and get up early to get to the Messe rather than staying 40 minutes away but in a place like this. The breakfast was OK but the place was dirty, food stains on window covers and the hallways as well as the elevators smelled nasty. The room itself was spacious, bathroom as well in an American style but again, some places were quite dirty.
    • Location requires a little walking to stations.
    • Location is quite far from station and few restaurants around hotel.

I liked the service; the staff was very attentive. The hotel is large, spacious, and clean. The location is excellent, close to practically everything.

I wanted to have coffee, but it seems they were closed or simply out of service. There was no one to serve me, and there was no information on how to proceed.

Despite the hotel being a 15-minute walk away from Chibaminato station, the hotel is right in the middle of Chiba Port Town and Port Square, so there are plenty of places to eat and go shopping with some open until late! I stayed on the 20th floor and the room was very spacious. It was very clean and with a wardrobe, work desk, and seating next to the large window, it's the perfect hotel to unwind after a busy day of working or sightseeing. A free shuttle bus also stops at the hotel on weekdays which takes you to and from Chiba station.

I have no complaints, but I hope the "eco cleaning" system can have more options in the future. I very much appreciated clean towels and amenities by the door when I wanted to skip a day of room cleaning, but it'd be nice to have the option to ask for less towels/amenities and avoid receiving too much as I was a single person staying in a twin room.

All the food places were pretty much close for lunch and dinner. So we really didn't get to use the hotel much other than for sleeping. Also it was far from many sit down resturants so had to walk far in the summer heat.

Didn’t use the spa but it looked like it would have been the highlight

Carpet pieces coming up off the floor. Dated and some windows stained/hazy

We stayed here for 3 nights. Located in quiet area of Chiba. Large room and comfy bed. Great outdoor onsen. Nice and friendly staff(particular Indian guy at front desk and cleaning lady). Convenient store just across the street from. Donki store, drugstore and supermarket very close.

Location. Quite far from train station. No nice restaurant nearby.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and towels were refreshed daily.

Easy access to 711 and Family Mart close by. Staff were friendly upon arrival.

Horrible location. Nearest train was a 15 minute walk away and there was no where to eat around the hotel. Even the hotel couldn't provide food.

The staffs were very approachable during our visit. I must compliment the Dutch manager (my bad for not asking for his name), he was extremely helpful and warm and our exchanges were very pleasant. He shared with us his personal experience living in Japan. We were served by Bisei when we arrived, he was very forthcoming in helping to answer my queries. When we checked out of the hotel, Miss Wang from the frontdesk went out of her way to explain very clearly how to get to the airport, reminding us repeatedly not to alight at Narita Station but at the Narita Airport Terminal 2&3 Station. The spa on Level 6 is a must go, very clean and well maintained. Both the male and female spa are separated on both side at this level with a small pantry in between. Besides a water dispenser (hot and cold), you can find a ice machine and a microwave oven. Not forgetting the housekeeping staffs, they were very polite and responsive with their ever smilling face.Excellent staffs!

The location is a little quiet, there is not much to see nearby. Took a little effort to get to the nearest train station. Perhaps the shops in the adjacent building are still not opened due to the pandemic.

Spacious enough for 3 people. The public bath was a surprise. Breakfast place has a nice view.

    Need to pay for parking.

    9AnniePosted on: 1-11-2025

It is good if you like hot spring bath, it is outdoor on level 6, all the areas are clean. Room is bigger than other hotels with all required facilities! Friendly staff! Next to the hotel there is a big duty free store.

We wish there is option of family room. We are a family of four, had to pay for 2 hotel rooms.

This hotel was great - it's a refurbished old, grand western style hotel so it was very spacious with dining halls and a large lobby. It was very comfortable. The staff were really kind and friendly, they made my stay extra comfortable. The open air bath was also a bonus and the main reason I stayed here (tattoo stickers allowed). I was upgraded and the room was very clean and spacious. Overall it was a surprisingly comfortable stay and I would choose this hotel again if I visit Chiba in the future.

It's a short walk from the monorail line, so those with large suitcases might want to taxi. However I didn't find this to be much of a problem.

Sky lounge at 21st floor restorant served clean, various foods and drinks.Room also gave me a comfortable rest and good sleep for one night.Spa at 6F make me to refresh of my mental. All was the best stay to me.

It was little bit far from the rail station by walk about 15 min.

The staff were very understanding and friendly, they prepared a different room for me immediately and I really appreciate that.

The hotel looked really nice in the photos but the actual hotel was eerie quiet, empty, and old. The puddle looking stain on the floor leading up to my assigned room door gave me an uneasy feeling, I asked the front desk to change the room. The general emptiness, oldness, the pitch black phone booth room, and the silent second floor except for the noise of escalators, were not something I expected from this hotel based on photos shown on booking sites. The room key was also manual, not a card key. The window was partially tinted brown but also faded with age. The staff were nice but I wouldn't stay here again especially if I were to stay alone. (I ended up sleeping at my friend's hotel)

Great value for money and also a great spa bath in this hotel Buffet was also good value Fairly new hotel near Port area of ChibaA donkey Quixote discount department shop very close by and a daiso shop in the same building

A little out of the way from downtown Chiba city so you need to take a monorail and short walk

Very comfy, quiet even if it was across a construction site during our stay
