    • Old hotel but well maintained. Size of room is small, but as expected of Japanese standard.

good location and staff was friendly

the bathroom flooded during our staywe are a family if 3 but the hotel doesn't have a family room.

Very Convenient location almost everything available in walking distance.

Parking not available but walking distance many available

Spacious room, lots of free amenities on the reception floor to help yourself to. Close walk to the train station.

    8NantanaPosted on: 10-29-2024

Great location! Once you discover the shortcut between the hotel and Yamagata train station, it’s just a quick 4-minute walk to the bus stop for Zao Onsen right in front of the station. The buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a delightful mix of traditional Japanese dishes and a selection of Western breads. There’s also a nice tea corner, and our favorite was the blueberrThere were no glasses or cups for drinking in the room. It felt quite outdated, and on our first night, it was a bit dusty. However, after we requested cleaning, the situation improved on the second night. I recommend asking for a vacuum cleaner right away if you notice any dust.y tea.The hotel seems to be undergoing renovations, as our window was covered with a metal structure, but it didn’t bother us too much. A plus is that all the evening entertainment on the second floor was closed, so it stayed quiet at night. The reception is on the third floor, but without clear signage, you might find it a bit tricky to locate.

There is no glass or cup for drinking. The room is too old and on our first night was quite dusty but when we ask for cleaning the 2nd night is better so I would suggest if you feel like smelling the dust please ask for vacumn cleaner right away.

Free amenities, free massager chairs, nice employees, close to the station

A bit old and smell of cigarettes

    6JenPosted on: 3-12-2024

Near the station. Lots of restaurants at the same row.

Building (and the hotel) seems a little old, bathroom is tiny and a little old as well.. but generally the room is spacious and clean (although very basic).

    5BrandtPosted on: 2-9-2024

The breakfast was mediocre and they charged us ¥100 more the third day we were there than the previous mornings.

The Hotel is a bit run down.

    8JenwitPosted on: 2-1-2024

good service.have wifi near the yamagata station

we have to wait for breakfast lately because group tours is coming.

    10JessicaPosted on: 10-9-2023

Very close to Yamagata station and excellent value for money. In the reception room floor there was a variety of shampoos and shower gels to borrow and other toiletries such as toothbrushes to take. We enjoyed the Japanese style breakfast and the massage chairs were a pleasant surprise.

Checkin was super easy, the staff were very friendly and made the process very smooth. The location was very central and close to the main station, stores and cafes. Also for nightly explorers there are a ton of cool bars around! The bed in the room was also extremely comfortable

The building is pretty old and there’s no car parking space but they offer a discount on a close car parking lot so it’s balanced out.

Perfect location for access to the city centre.Hotel looked a bit dated but you couldn’t find fault: comfortable bed, amenities, good bathroom, tv, slippers, yukata,….

    Slow lift ?

    5AliPosted on: 6-27-2023

    The location- The bed

The bathroom has a bad smell- My head was touching the ceiling in the shower- I found long hairs in the room- Everything is old and in bad shape- Last but not least, i found something similar to a camera in the climatisor, the staff said it's normal but i'm not so sure....

    8RobertPosted on: 5-18-2023

Excellent location, close to the train station and on a street with several restaurants and izakayas.

It's very much a business hotel. The front desk is closed from mid-morning through mid-afternoon. But I was just looking for a place to stay for one night.

    5KkPosted on: 5-15-2023

The location was great, and the pillows and bed were very comfortable.

The place wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom. There was no hotel parking, but there was nearby paid parking. The information for the hotel says parking is available, but it's not necessarily true since nearby parking lots may be full. The bottom two floors of the building are dedicated to snacks and bars, so it's a little rowdy if you stay during the weekend.

    8Jim H.Posted on: 5-11-2023

Not that far from the station and this was the cheapest hotel in the area at the time. Room was big enough myself and bed was comfy enough. Just don't expect so much from this chain of hotels except a place to sleep at night.

Hotel was a little old which is typical for the Crown hills hotel brand which is mostly a business hotel. Seems like their hotels really are due for remodeling and upgrade.

    6MesillahPosted on: 5-6-2023

Close to the station. Has all the necessities one needs and beds are comfortable enough.

Aesthetic a little outdated. Room floor was surprisingly uneven. Could kind of hear my neighbors.

    5EthamaPosted on: 4-22-2023

    location, close to station

old worn out rooms, very little effort to make the room comfy. toilet was dirty when we arrived. it was the cheapest at that time but still very much overpriced for what you get
