Comfort Hotel Tendo

Good location , very big room , clean , good staff and excellent breakfast.

Nothing , everythings OK and I hope I will go and stay here next chance.

Complimentary breakfast and comfortable well outfitted room

Breakfast

Small bed for two people.Room is Very congested

Charming and lovely. Staff were extremely thoughtful and the breakfast was exceptionally diverse. Rooms are spacious and location by the station makes it ideal for travellers wanting to explore Tendo

location, close to station, room was a good size, comfy bed. nice staff. some free parking around hotel

challenging breakfast, no bread, strange curry and/or bolonese selection.

The hotel location is peaceful. The air-conditioned room has all basic amenities you need. The included breakfast has various delicious choices. Car parking is free, more than enough, and easy to use. Staffs are friendly and supportive.

The breakfast restaurant is quite small and crowded. Compared to other hotels with same quality in Japan, this hotel rate is quite expensive. At night, the area around the hotel is dark and almost has nothing to eat. But this is not the hotel's fault and it is understandable for such rural area.

Good service/hospitality, good value, good breakfast, comfy bed.

The location really close to Tendo stn where you can catch Shinkansen to Tokyo or train to Ginzan. Book this hotel since I cant reserve Ryokan in Ginzan

The AC mode cannot be controlled, it is centrallized

Super close to the train station, just a minute walk. Our room may be small but its very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good and staff are very helfpful. Will definitely stay again!

The complimentary breakfast was very handy, the staff were very helpful as we don’t speak Japanese and the facilities were nice and clean

The pillows weren’t very comfy

Great Hotel, staff is super friendly, breakfast was amazing, very close to the station, we were sad to leave...

is a simple hotel for short stay with value of money, have coin laundry machine, breakfast is nice.

just a normal hotel as what we needed for just 1 night stay, cant say any dislike.

Very friendly staff, very clean hotel, great breakfast, perfect location for Yamadera.

For this price I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more.

Of course the location... nearest to the JR Tendo station and positioned next to shops and restaurants. The Breakfast area is big and also the lobby is well spaced out compared to other Comfort hotels that I have stayed in Japan.

When you are trying to establish a reputation among frequent members of a Hotel chain (Comfort in this case), you need to be flexible, little sensitive and co-operate to an extent possible. For some strange reasons, they do not allow takeaway breakfast! Well reasons could be valid but you can't even serve two pieces of bread to someone who checks out early morning with a cup of coffee? Everywhere they allow and more so when you know that many guests would take the early (first) morning train back to Tokyo from the Tendo station. This was a bad experience as in the morning, I found stores near by close as well!

?breakfast, ?service? Cleanliness? Comfortable twin room ? Parking in front of the hotel

Did what we needed, when moving around the country.Lots of parking, a comfortable bed and free breakfast.

Could hear neighbors through the walls

The staff and service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious.

The train takes nearly 30mins between Yamagata and Tendou. And the frequency of this route is low. Need to make sure the train schedule before departure, or need to wait for one hour for the next train.

Friendly staff - great breakfast - clean - service - location

Really small room/bathroom for two days (no room to unpack) - but great for 1 night

Very good value for the money. Friendly personnel. Excellent breakfast.

Just a minute's walk from the rail way station. Helpful staff, room was clean. Availability of bicycles is a bonus.
