Yamagata Kokusai Hotel

The hotel is having best location. Few minutes walk from Yamagata station. The Yamako bus terminal is right behind the hotel. Easy access to attractions like Zao Onsen, Yamadera, Tendo, Kaminoyama and many more. The staff was helpful in resolving all our queries.

Same breakfast everyday. They should make some variations in the breakfast everyday. Also, they should add more vegan options. There were limited vegan options.

Breakfast ok.Staff trying their best to communicate with us in English.

During winter period it would be good to provide daily pack of moisturizer lotion and milk. There are laundry bags and list in the room, but no service provided according to staff. I was told washing available in 9th floor.

Great staff and great location Will spacious rooms.

Bathrooms are tight and likely to need upgrade soon.

Good location not too far from the station and wonderful breakfast buffet with many traditional Japanese options. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable.

Clean , nice staff , close to the station

Spacious room, great view, nice staff, comfortable bed

nice rooms, nice view

location wasn’t great

Old and worn , but reasonably maintained. Good location clean and easy. Not bad for a bed to sleep in

A nice hotel, with quick access to Yamagata station. Everything is very clean and the breakfast was great with a variety of Japanese breakfast items. The room was clean, but somewhat older, but all worked as it should. Only the airconditioning produced warm air instead of cold, but we didn't need it anyway ?

We had a Japanese style room including tatami. It was a great experience staying in that kind of traditional room.Everything was clean and we missed nothing during our stay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was extraordinary good: It was Japanese style and all the small dishes were extremely tasty. Try the imoni soup!

The furniture in the room was quite old and looked a bit „worn out“. But it was still very cosy!

Nice, classic little hotel room (maybe a bit small for two people if you don't stay only to sleep) near the station and good restaurants.

Cheap, not too far from station, did sleep well

Tv position is bad, cant even see from bed or chair. Its clean but details not that clean. Hotel kind of old. No humidifier .

Good healthy breakfast with plenty of options. Coffee machine provided decent freshly ground coffee. Super friendly staff.

The rooms are rather small and dated. There is very little closet space, meaning your clothes need to remain in your suitcase, which is would be awkward for a longer stay. The rooms need an update. The ensuite bathroom is tiny but functional.

Bigger room, good location near convenient store (Lawson, 7-11, family mart)Delicious and many kinds of breakfast, car parking in underground

Difficult adjust of heater

Great location, located close to train station and the bus terminal. There are nice restaurants around, which may take just a couple of minutes to reach, offering some of the most interesting dishes in the region. The staff were nice too, and there weren’t too many complications when checking in and out.

The air in the room is quite dry, making it hard to sleep. The humidifier they provide helps reduce this, but I still wake up with a headache

Good location, very clean, friendly staff and met our needs. Our room had a beautiful view too.

The staff were so helpful & kind, very clean and easy to get to.

The whole hotel has to be the same aircon temp & it was very hot while we were there so we had to have the window open at all times letting air in. They didn’t have any small fans to lend out either.

Central location and within walking distance to the tourist attractions in aomori. Aomori market is great

Good location. The hotel had a great view. We got a room at the top floor and had a nice view of the city. The hotel room was clean and comfy, staff were nice, breakfast was good. Felt very fancy.

Good to have a carpark with sufficient parking space. The hotel is in a central location with excellent breakfast. Rooms are spacious and tidy.
