    Pros +

    • Very clean. The lobby had ice and microwave and coffee/tea facilities. That was very convenient.
    • Location, style of the rooms and staff.
    • It's a very beautifully made hotel, the interior design is on point. The mini garden that is only visible from the lobby is a very calming location to relax for a moment. The staff was kind and polite and the buffet is diverse with a lot of options, changing each day a bit. The onsen, although small (one bath), is perfect to relax. The rooms supply anything you might need for the stay even a kettle with a choice of two different teas. The hotel also provides a yukata. You also have the possibility to grab as many supplies as you need, no matter if toothbrush, razors, tea or other useful items. There is also the possibility to use washing machines, ice machines, vending machines and a microwave. If you agree on eco-cleaning you have even the possibility to get a free drink from the vending machine.

    Cons -

    • The bathroom was very small and the bathtub was so deep and the walls of it so high I had a ery difficult time getting in and out to take a shower as I am a bit older.
    • The bed was very hard, but I found a way to get some sleep
    • The mattress was so hard that it felt like sleeping on the floor. The pillow was also very hard, so much so that on the second night I used my duvet instead of my pillow (I've had more comfortable nights in capsule hotels). The rooms are not isolated, I could hear my neighbors coughing and their bads moving. As for the buffet, the first day I went at 8, thinking that it would be all right since it was said to be until 9, but a lot of the food was gone, the options were reduced, there was no tea anymore, the sausages were swimming in gelatin instead of water, and I found a hair in my congee. The second day I arrived around 7 finding good options and verity. I was a bit disappointed that there were so many coffee options but only one tea option but I could enjoy a good cup of tea in my room, which nevertheless I very much appreciated (having the option between a black and a green tea). Also the stuff is pretty much uncapable of comunicating in English (at least some of the staff I had contact with), although they have pre-made signs and sheets with information in English which gave me all the information I needed. Every information is also available on the tv in japanese only.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and facilities, good breakfast and nice location just outside of Morioka.

    Mattress to hard

Location at a quiet place and nearby big supermarket & drug store. Breakfast was nice and delicious. Good hot spring and complimentary hot coffee. Staff were polite and helpful.

Limited carpark lot especially during weekend. We almost couldn't get a lot even extended to carpark P2. Carpark P2 was further away from the Hotel.

Very good seat and table in the room, for working or for having a drink and watching TV.

Wonderful staff, Wonderful Hot Springs, Wonderful Room, and Wonderful breakfast. Made booking everything at the last minute as stress free as possible. Thank you for the hospitality

The Onsen and the breakfast were great.

Not in a very comfortable location which was far from the main city and we had to take bus with so many stops to get to the city.

    9SeiichiPosted on: 11-8-2023

I liked the SPA and breakfast included, it makes a difference.

Information and display should be in English also, not only in Japanese and some time in Chinese. In the restaurant should be prepared a fork and knife for the western people.

The stay was as comfortable as I had expected. Check in and check out was very smooth and the room was very tidy. Breakfast venue was quite spacious and the food was very good too. I was especially impressed with the Iwate yogurt, which I had never had before. The breakfast staff was nice and friendly. Thank you for your hospitality even though it was for one night.

If I had to say something, breakfast was a bit slow because there were not enough trays for all the guests and there was a long line just to get food. The front staff was very helpful during our stay but none of them had their smiling faces from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. But all in all, I had a good stay.

Clean, New Hotel, Breakfast good, Free parking

Location is okay, but not ideal!

    8YUKAPosted on: 8-7-2023

Onsen was the favorite part. It wasn’t big but it was enough to refresh with the hot bath. The temperature might be a bit too hot for the kids.

You might exclude the breakfast unless you need to leave super early. Very crowded on Sunday morning so I thought it was better to skip the breakfast and have some brunch at somewhere else.

    8MatthewPosted on: 4-20-2023

Nice clean and modern hotel. Parking was free and plentiful. Breakfast was included and tasted good. We were especially impressed with how efficiently the staff catered to the absolutely HUGE number of people dining on a Sunday morning. The hotel is located across the street from a Lawson convenience store, a large supermarket, and several food outlets. Rooms were clean. The hotel has a bath house and spa although we didn't make use of those facilities. Good for the price.

The beds were sooooooo hard and uncomfortable, it felt like we were lying on a mattress made of sand - absolutely no give, bounce or plushness. Weirdly, they had little fliers in the rooms stating how the mattress company supplied beds for the Tokyo Olympics and how good they were for your back. Everything else about the hotel was very pleasant but the mattresses were a dealbreaker (backbreaker?) and we wouldn't stay again due to that factor alone.

    9AdrianaPosted on: 3-6-2023

Room was spacious (twin), with a bath. Plenty of parking. Clean. Hotel restaurant for evening meals. Convenient store across the road.

No USB inroom charger. No public computer. Breakfast quality varied day to day.

I really liked the newness of the hotel. While largely a standard "business hotel", it was very clean, facilities were new and easy to use. I really liked the sento bath downstairs. Very well put together.

I was very surprised that there were no USB ports from which I could charge my phone. Location was a bit of a challenge as it was far from central Morioka but otherwise everything was good about the hotel itself.

Hot spring, good breakfast and welcoming treats for kids .

    10VictorPosted on: 6-19-2022

It was close to my friends house. Everything was in walking distance for my needs. I really enjoyed my stay and will stay there every time. The staff treated me like royalty. Great atmosphere and I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

I would not change anything at all. Everyone was super nice and the hotel was well kept and clean. If I could change anything it would be a noon time check out so that I could sleep in a bit longer.

Breakfast was yummy. Rooms were modern and clean.Onsen was spacious

    9JamiePosted on: 8-12-2021

The hotel was really clean and the staff was very friendly.

We had to pay more than our originally reservation stated. We had to pay 6,000 yen more per night for bed-sharing fees. This was very bothersome as all of the kids were listed, so I’m not sure why that was not included in the original price.
