Parking is convenient and at discount. Breakfast with variety is exceeding expectations.
Room is too small and has no space to manage luggage. TV is positioned at the same level of the head of the bed and difficult to enjoy TV program. Wifi is unstable and reconnection is required sometimes manually.

The location was unbeatable. One street over from a covered shopping arcade filled with restaurants and izakyas. Less than five minutes from the river, with great views and small riverside eateries. And less than ten minutes from JR Morioka station. The style of the hotel was straight from the 1920s, the front desk was staffed at all times and the room was clean and well equipped.
The walls were a little thin so we could hear the occasional voice from the hall or another room.
breakfast buffet was good but not as good as the pictures might suggest. The room had great shutters to block out light. luggage storage after checkout was nice too.
the bedding was a bit lackluster. it was clean, but seemed a bit dated. To be honest the whole room felt dated. The entrance and lobby areas were the nicest places by far.
