Hotel Royal Morioka

The room was bigger than your usual Japanese hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English, but didn't mind me trying to speak Japanese. The location is good. Walk-able from the train station and the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants, shopping and conbini's. The castle ruins park and shrine are a 5 minute walk away. Very comfortable and clean room. A large and cozy Starbucks in the front entrance of the hotel which seemed nice and give a bit more "life" to the hotel area.

No laundry facilities but found a coin-laundry 10min walk from the hotel.

Room is renovated and specious. Even though the hotel building is old.

My room facing another building. There is no view. The lobby space is shared with Starbuck. Not much of hotel guests common area to relax. No coin laundry machine.

The restaurant in the hotel isnt there anymore but still on the signs in the hotel.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and only made our experience more memorable. He provided valuable information and recovered our goat milk that we forgot to take when we left. He deserves a raise!

The walking path from the parking lot was rugged and made rolling of our luggage a little difficult.

The room was big, nice, comfortable and so were the beds. Bathroom was spaciously compact, very clean and nice. Every day you find a bag with a new set of towels and products at your door. The staff is very kind, attentive and helpful :) All in all a great experience and we liked it a lot and will gladly stay here again.

Strangely one of the "neighbours" were quite loud (in after midnight hours) and in the room above ours there was also a lot going on but fortunately in the morning..

Big spacious room, comfy bed and design of the room is really nice. good location walking distance to everything

No laundry facilities and air conditioner did not work below 25 degrees so it was a quite warm and had to leave the window open to cool down but then mosquitos got in.

The interior is stylish. Breakfast is great.

Location is bit away from Moriowa station still it is walkable or local buses available.

Nice hotel. Frontstaff friendly. Good breakfast with good Japanese, western and even some Chinese options. Starbucks in the lobby. Room design was very nice, bed was comfortable. Window could open. All very clean. About 15 minutes walk from station. Lots of places to ear around and in the hotel.

The room was exceptionally warm. No way to swich off the heater. Had to keep the window open, but this seemed almost counterproductive.

Location, cleanliness, parking and polite staff. Very comfortable room. My favorite hotel to stay, while in Morioka.

Rooms are more spacious compared to other hotel in Japan.opp have a mall & able to get some quick bite

They need at least to provide bottle of mineral water.

Royal Morioka is a business style hotel; very clean and efficient. Breakfast offered many options. We rented a car at the station and drove out to Koiwai Farm to eat ice cream!

Very friendly staff, large and comfortable room, excellent breakfast for about 1500 yen. Starbucks on the ground floor (basically in the lobby) serves good coffee.

The hotel was in the heart of Morioka’s cinema street. Close and walkable to the sights and amazing cafes. Great customer service.

Bed was super comfy.

There’s a (quite dangerous) step in the room. They speak only Japanese.

Nice hotel in central Morioka (10min walk from train station). Refurbished rooms with nice interior and very comfortable beds. Would stay again if I go.
