Morioka City Hotel

The location was very close to the station & the staff were nice.

The carpets were filthy - I found an old toenail by the bed. It doesn’t seem like they vacuum often or clean the carpets. The bed cover had multiple stains, it was an unsettling sleep because everything felt dirty and smelt weird. Not good value for money.

Staffs were nice, location was good mere station .

At least, carpet need to replace.

I like the location and the staff were really nice.

The bathroom was a bit too small. I would have also liked more variety for the breakfast.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and bedding. I slept very well. Excellent location near the train station.

Overall, it was better than expected. I was not expecting much because of not so good reviews but we had a comfortable stay. Our room was next to the reception but we did not have any issues with the noise. The hotel is also located close to the station and restaurants.

Located close to Morioka station it is only a short walk which is especially convenient when arriving late at night. The staff were very friendly upon arrival and check out, it was even possible to store my luggage for the day without there being a time limit. There is a small area in front of the reception where one can sit down and work or read as well. The room had a good size and looked the same as on the picture. The mattress was comfortable, but the bed itself could have done with a real blanket and not just a thin sheet and comforter. It was quiet enough during the night so sleeping was easily done.

The carpet could have been a little cleaner and the unit bath was slightly dusty. It also smelled a little musky which must have been the carpet in the hallway.

Personals are very nice !They have guided us to the private parking and check in was very simple and fast

The whole hotel is really dirty …Very strong smell of smoke in the room,The tapestry is moldy and has trace of cigarette.Only the bathroom is clean.

The location was good.

I got a smoker room and it was smelling horrible. Also the carpet was green in some areas (it should have been brown) and also smelled horrible. It was also very depressing.

Good accommodation and reasonable price. Room with 12 m2 is good for one person. Location is excellent. 3 minutes walk to the morioka station and to the bridge to see the iwate mountain view.

The bed is comfortable.

On the same floor there was a staircase, not good for big luggages.

I use this hotel every time when I visit Morioka. I choose this place for the location and price. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

The room is quite small and it is not that clean. The bathroom curtain has black spots here and there as well as the bathroom wall. Room floor also is not that clean.

The location was nice and very close to the area I needed to be (bus area, train area, restaurants, and shopping).

Excellent location, right by Morioka train station. The room is perfect if you are traveling alone.
