Location and friendly staff

For me , the room is a bit small, and I hope they can add more amenities… even just having cotton buds would be nice.

Location is a bit far from train station and quite old hotel, however it is clean.

Small room was emphasized by the fact that the window, which opened an inch, only let us look out onto an inch of a brick wall. A bit claustrophobic, but nice lounge, nice staff, great location.

-The price is value of the location and you can have your own room and private bathroom.-it only takes 3mints to arrive the hotel from Morioke station by foot.-the staff is really nice,let me feel welcome even I speak the poor Japanese( the staff is a little bit struggling with English but they still try their best to communicate with me)-The wifi is too weak to use and the room‘s window with no curtains,which is a little bit weird for me.

The staff were kind. It was cost effective. The location is super near the main station of Morioka City. Overall, the room is comfortable.

It looks like the building of the hotel is old, therefore they have old style room keys. Another minus is about the wifi. I do not know if it was caused by the ongoing snow storm, but the connection was so slow, even it became disconnected frequently. Also, once I entered the room, it felt so hot inside, and the central AC only had 3 modes of temperature.

There is no way to adjust the room temperature, which was uncomfortably high throughout the stay. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was completely unreliable and unusable. I would not recommend this place for anyone who needs a stable internet connection for work or other purposes.

Hard to find at first Room is a little small

Your classic eki mae hotel with basic amenities. I stayed one night and it served its purpose well. Toothbrush, toothpaste, hair dryer, towels and a night gown provided.

It was clean and really easy to check in and out. The bed was very comfortable. You can ask the cleaning ladies to clean everything, just change your towels or that you don't want any service by magnetic cards you put on the outside of the door, so you don't have to communicate if you don't want to.

The wifi was not good at the 7th floor

Not a very glamorous hotel, but it’s fine for the price since it basically costs as much as a hostel would. Location is across the street from Morioka Station and right by quite a scenic little bridge that connects to a more active area of the city.

- There was one main light in the room with a provided desk light. Ambience felt gloomy, but it’s okay for the price.- Bathroom felt slightly more thin compared to similar business hotels.- Slight smell in elevator.- WiFi is not good unless you use it during times when people are sleeping. If you need to rely on WiFi for work, then better to have a pocket WiFi.- Window in room does not open.

Location is great. Also privacy.

Location reasonable, well within walking distance to station though slightly far to bus to ski resort.

Business hotel so did not expect much though parts of the flooring were loose and felt a little dirty

Although we requested a non-smoking floor/room, the room smelled like cigarette smoke, amd the aircondotioner was blowing smoke directly into the room. We asked to be chamged to anotger room, or switch off the vent blowing through the smoke, but staff at the front desk.were non English speaking and couldn't help. We left the next day with all our clothes and luggage smelling like cigarettes.

Pretty big room with a view on the city, friendly staff

+ Nice room with a kind of sliding panel in front of the wind as a blind. Excellent for sleeping in the dark. + Silent AC+ Free bicycle ( nice for a short tour, not for a excursion as it is a mini-bicycle)+ Super location, near train station.

- Just enough space to move from the bed to the bathroom with amy large luggage open. Better for light traveler. But that wasn't a deal breaker. Just upgraded for a larger room if you have more than one luggage.- bicycle would be a kid's size for European standard. But okay nice to have one to use for free.

Really close to the station. Comfy bed.. not too hard like most Japanese hotels.

A bit dated but it's clean so I didn't really mind. Quite far from the castle ruins though and to be able to go there you have to walk back to station to catch a bus

Excellent value for money for basic but adequate business hotel. Close to train station and bus depot area. Check in very fast and efficient.

Access through front door a bit clunky with luggage, a proper ramp would have been convenient. Room very small but fair enough for the price.

Price

Substandard place, but if (like me) you're just looking for a clean place to layover and nothing fancy, the price is decent.

Good value for money. Location is perfect, a few minutes from Morioka station, with views of the Kitakami River (my room), but windows are not designed for enjoying outside views.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like.

The hotel is near Morioka station.

The breakfast included does not have any eggs, ham or sausage. It is strictly vegetable juice and bread. You will need find somewhere to eat breakfast such as the Matsuya in Morioka if you choose to stay here.
