Very clean hotel. Great staff. Great price. Location is good near that old brick building, walkable area with lots of restaurants and caffees nearby.

Rooms are refurbished and well-maintained. It’s business hotel size (like any business hotel in Japan) but there’s a nice retro feel throughout ;) Location is very convenient for sightseeing since the city center is away from the station.

The property was ideally located, hotel room was in the larger size, and the stay was very cheap.

While it was clean, the room smelled kind of wet (?). When I awoke in the morning, all of my papers were damp and curled. I think there was a moisture issue.

Large and clean for the price. Good aircon. The buffet breakfast was good.

A little far from the station if you're staying a single day.

The lobby is an interesting time capsule but the rooms appear to have been recently renovated. Although I had a single, there was a spacious desk for working and also the lobby is good for meetings. Although it seems a bit far from the station, buses run regularly on the main street nearby (you can even go directly by bus to Hachimantai!) and the hotel itself is near the main tourist and nightlife areas.

The window in my room was really small. Also the breakfast is a good bargain but I wish they'd had better jam options for the bread, which was good because there was a whole grain option.

Provide everything needed for a sleepover. Parking available for Y900.

Small space

Central location and close Iwate Park was nice. Facilities appeared updated and very clean. Excellent amenities Breakfast was great value.

I felt the bed was a bit small for two adults.

The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The price was reasonable, and the location is excellent—close to JR Station, the famous cherry tree growing from a rock, Morioka Castle, and Morioka Park, which is well-known for cherry blossom viewing. The staff were polite and willing to provide helpful advice regarding transportation and sakura spots.Guests can use a parking area close to the hotel for 900 yen per night.The room itself is slightly dated, the bed was not very comfortable and caused some back pain, and the air extractor was a bit noisy. However, overall, I think this is a very good hotel, and I would recommend it to other travelers.

Decent room that provides sufficient space

The staff was horrible. A staff offered to park the car because we were taking too long to park into the small space. He was obviously not happy, and when he reversed the car, he reversed full speed and it missed the pillar by only an inch. What a scare for us all.

Modern, clean, everything you need for a solo traveler.

I did not stay at Kita Hotel I stayed at La Nord. Never in my life of visiting 52 countries and staying in dozens of hotels have I ever had the misfortune of booking into a hotel that is so disrespectful to its guests that it changes its name and does not bother to either notify them or put the other name in front of the building!!!!!!just ridiculous! I walked around for ages looking for the sign Akita!!!!!! NONE! After travelling for hrs and tired so unimpressed!

Change of name and decision of staff not to notify its customers really! What were you thinking ?

Very central, opposite a Lawson convenience store and also handy to main shopping area. Plenty of restaurants close by also. Would stay there again

The walk to Morioka Station is a bit far, but doable.

Staff was very friendly. The place was very clean. Space was great for single person. Near many amenities and local attractions. Easy to find. There was massage services to your room.

The location was great, walk just a little to the park and in front of the hotel have Lawson and SevenElevent. The staff is helpful and the room is clean.

Because of the smoking room next to the entrance sometime when enter the building you can smell the cigarette.
