Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka Ekimae

Nice location near the station. The room itself is good, nice beds and a spacious bathroom. Our room’s window was right next to the glowing Daiwa Roynet logo. Closing the curtains does block out the light completely though, so no issues at night.We were able to reach the castle ruins, old bank and a few temples by foot easily. There’s a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were able to keep our luggage there for a bit after check-out.

This is one of the best hotels, we have stayed in the Tohoko region. Staff are helpful, rooms are comfortable and the price and location are excellent.

There are two Daiwa Roynet hotels in Morioka. I hate it when you think you have booked this one and unfortunately its the other one.

Location was excellent, close to the Morioka Station and close to car rental depots. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a convenience store in the lobby of the hotel made things super easy.

The breakfast wasn't the best, it was a bit simple compared to others we have experienced. The western options weren't as nice. The basic scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit and yoghurt etc.

Amazing. Daiwa Roynet is always good but this one was great. The queen sized comfy beds come standard, but you also get a great view, super nice showers/bathroom, breakfast is top tier with so many different options. Location is perfect with great food nearby. If I ever stay in Morioka again, it will be here.

It is a high quality business hotel. This is not a con, just be realistic in your expectations.

This was our first time staying at a Daiwa Roynet hotel but definitely not the last! If I could give bonus points for value for money, I would. The in-room amenities were outstanding — more comprehensive than in even most luxury hotels — incl. USB charging cables, trouser press, wardrobe + separate coat hooks, properly labelled light switches, and a minifridge (that can be turned off when not in use!). Location near the station was so easy, and the view over the river was spectacular. Easy checkin and self checkout, a perfectly clean and relatively large room (for Japan) — we couldn’t ask for anything more.

Nice central location close to the station and plenty of food options. Rooms were spacious by Japanese standards and the front desk has all the amenities you could ever need. We had a corner room which had great views of the riverside. Despite the busy location not much noise was heard outside at night. Convenience store on the ground floor made it dead easy to stock up on late night snacks and drinks.

Convenient to train station, good varied breakfast , rental cars available nearby and a 7-11 attached to the hotel

Short distance to station, we had to go underground to cross street. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. 7-11 connected to hotel. Nice view of the lake and bridge. Walkable to the Castle Ruins. Friendly staff. The room and bathroom were really nice.

The breakfast buffet could be a little better in selection, but it’s okay. The staff was nice there. There is a nice view.

One of my favorite Daiwa Roynet properties I've stayed at in Japan, with large rooms, a modern design, friendly staff and fair rates. It's the perfect base for exploring both Morioka City and Iwate prefecture.

The breakfast was wonderful. It had a good variety of different foods (Western and Japanese). Our rooms were exceptionally clean! The mattresses and linens were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Terrific location in central Morioka, a very short walk to the main station. Rooms are certainly adequate and provide a good value for the price

The toilet was really spacious and relaxing. I liked it so much I registered for membership as I intend to patronize more Daiwa Roynet Hotels in other cities

Daiwa Roynet was so accommodating for our family. We had two rooms, which they were able to put next to each other, making it beyond easy to get our kids ready. It was walkable from the train station even with all our luggage and children, and really close to tons of restaurants. The parking was incredibly easy and affordable and I'm grateful it was something they offered. Breakfast was fantastic and also it was attached to a 7-11 making it easy to grab a few items before our long car trip when we departed. We're always thrilled when a location has a Daiwa Roynet and this didn't disappoint.

Room is very clean and worth the money I paid. Toilet was top notch and immaculately clean. Amenities are well stocked and they also have mouthwash which you don’t normally see it on the amenity section. Will definitely check in again.
