Staff are friendly. Lifts are quite efficient, not long wait. 7-11 nearby is very handy.

Dust in the room. Tv was not compatible with the room's layout. The furniture was obviously old and partly broken. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows are really neck-broken. The bathroom was old, water leakage, not properly cleaned. The air-conditioner did not work as it should be. The room temperature was too high to rest well. Probably it was my bad, just 3 nights stay.

A really nice hotel in the centre of Morioka - everything as described in the offer - the hotel is in a bit retro style, but high quality - I liked it a lot. Breakfast was just fantastic - huge variety - they stored my luggage after check out. I absolutely recommend this place to everybody.

The rooms were perfect for a family. Master bedroom and queen bedroom, foldout couch bed was perfect. We loved our stay.

Check out was a little weird. Nobody was at the desk (no 24 hour staff) when we went to check out. No signage stating where to put keys nor was there any information at check-in.

Lovely large room and comfy beds. Very good bathroom. Free VOD while we were there which was a nice extra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Exceptionally clean. Even on the day we requested no cleaning they left us fresh towels and sheets at the door. Area has many restaurants and super close to the gorgeous ruins. We could see mount Iwata from our window. Wish we'd stayed longer. Morioka is such a lovely city. We would definitely stay here again.

The air con could have been colder but I'll give them a pass as it's not normally that hot there and we were on the 16th floor.

They serve an excellent breakfast here, with many many options. Also housekeeping does an excellent job of things clean, and the front of house staff is very nice. Another plus is that the windows in each room are operable, so you can get fresh air or cool down at night.

This is an older hotel, and I knew that before booking, so I won’t criticize it for that. However, as others have noted, you may be awakened by noises from other guests coming and going in the hallway, because the soundproofing is quite scant. Also, the mattress is on the hard side, although it did not interfere with my sleep. One nice feature is that you can pick a pillow at the front desk so you will have a comfortable pillow.

The staff was very friendly and the free rental bicycle is very convenient to go around the city. They even kindly allowed us to use the bicycle after checkout time.

They provided amenities and pillow options in the lobby, but by the time we arrived there everything was already gone. it would be great if there are more stocks.

Unfortunately an uncomortable stay as the pillow felt like it had rocks in it and the quilt was so hot. Couldn't sleep much at all.Room stunk of smoke or some othe stale smell even though I booked a non-smoking room.

Hotel was far from the train station but easy to get to if you are driving or don’t mind walking 15 minutes. Room was large with a large size unit bath/bathroom. Beds were soft and comfortable. Rooms had their own heating and cooling.

The hotel is within a decent walking distance to the main train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in and out.

We booked a non-smoking room but there were cigarette burns on the desk in our room and it had a bit of a cigarette smell. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The fridge in our room did not work which was a shame as we had food that needed to be refrigerated.

Fair price and close to downtown. Nice staff. The room above ours made loud noise which woke us up after the midnight. Eventually, staff offered another room for us to stay in the middle of the night

Little bit far from station. Wall is too thin, and I could hear other guests when they made a loud noise.

The price and location were really good.

The room had a stale smell, like it may have been a smoking room a long time ago. Also, the room only had bright, fluorescent lights, which was unpleasant. But I was there for one night and not spending much time in the room, so it was okay.The parking arrangement was a little confusing as well, but I don't understand Japanese very well, so I can't really blame the hotel. Just a little warning for people visiting with cars. :)

Perfect location, very friendly staff, clean, all facilities were there. Had a great stay!
