Comfort Hotel Akita

Breakfast is good... Location is convenient for all activities...

Everything almost went as expected... except at the end of my stay, the hotel was preparing for some kind of construction and caused some confusion on the parking issue... It was not a big issue but there was inconsistent guidance provided by different hotel staff...

Comfortable room and very good buffet breakfast. Hotel just a short distance from Akita Station.

The staff were professional and accommodating (without being condescending). The front desk clerk who helped us with check-in explained all matters clearly and concisely, even surprising us with a complimentary buffet breakfast -- with its variety of meals (rice-based, bread-based) and unlimited drink service. Their basil chicken was *chef's kiss*; their purple rice, filling. The frozen mangoes were perfect. Kudos to the gentle staff who checked if offerings needed replenishment.

Clean, good food and very helpful staff

Nothing to report

Close to station and reasonably priced

Very small rooms

Breakfast is superb. They served local Akita dishes such as kiritanpo, and everything is delicious. Location is close to the Akita Station, with a few mall connected to the station & convenience store around.

Seriously, the Comfort Hotel/Choice Group CEO should visit this facility to see how they perform excellently. Not only they keep the hotel spotless, the quality and variety of "free" breakfast is one of the best I found so far. It was simply AMAZING! Not only that, the location was next to the central station, the size of the room was decent ("large" in Japanese standard), small refrigerator in the room and Washlet toilet were very good. We also took advantage of (coin) laundry during our stay. On top of that, quiet room and firm bed gave us a very nice sleep. Overall, again, it was nothing short of an amazing stay. Thank you very much for all staffs to make this happened.

Nothing. Yes, it was nothing.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast was very goo

The room is very small, it was difficult for two people trying to move around. The bed was a little narrow for us. The WiFi wasn't great, I had trouble streaming and it dropped out a few times.

The location is great

Parking is expensive because you have to use the pay lots near by. The hotel room itself was okay but kind of musty. The pillows were so thin, maybe like five cm max. The walls were in rough shape and the mini fridge was pretty old. The bed was okay.

Very clean, great service and good price

Beds too hard and not enough pillows

Breakfast was superb in every way. Great job! Location was perfect, close and convenient to marquee locations.

Loose carpet inside elevator was difficult to maneuver luggage, plus it could be a tripping hazard.

Close to station, excellent breakfast including some cereal.

Room was quite small otherwise OK

Location was great. Only a couple of minutes from Akita Station and surrounded by malls, restaurants and shops.

It was very close to the station and easily accesible

None. Everything was good. It's just that the bathroom is not disabled friendly.

Close to the station and restaurants. Comfortable room. Free breakfast. Free coffee which isn't common in Japan

Bed was comfy and the included breakfast consited of a large range of dishes to choose from.

Room became too warm without air-con., but setting the correct temperature proved quite a challenge.

Short walk from the train station to the hotel. The room was cleaned each day.

Breakfast is very basic. The worst Breakfast of the five hotels this trip.

Very clean bed, bath room and bed are comfortable for sleep. Staff very friendly. Bfast is prety yummy, however it was not being refill, so if you are not coming early for bfast, you get leftover or nothing

Front desk very helpful. Breakfast very tasty and healthy.

Room slightly small a bit. My big luggage cannot open all.

Cheap priceStaff is understandable

Heater is centralised and cannot control from room, hence took very long to warm (and it was so cold that time)
