Hotel Alpha Inn Akita

Clean, simple and about 1 mile from main train station.

Spacious room.Working AC unit.

Bathroom is a bit tight. I had a room at the end of the hall so there was a bulkhead above the shower. If you’re over 6ft it might be tight. There’s only body wash and shampoo available. No hand soap and no conditioner (used body wash to wash my hands).

Big room and big bed, the staff is very pleasant

The hotel is old and could use some renovation. Although there are buses that go to the hotel, it is quite far from the city's main attractions and the train station.

Room size , there is sofa and kitchen

There is kitchen but it’s empty , if you want use, you have bring your pot :)

I had my own room with a bathroom and a kitchen. There were amenities too.

The WiFi connection was so bad that it could not be used at all. Maybe because I was at the top floor??

It's a standard business hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel likely had previously allowed smoking in rooms, and my room still had a tiny, tiny bit of smell remaining. The toilet did not have any modern features.

Nice big room with a great bed. Personnel gave very friendly service.

They provided us a suit room. There were two king size bed, and a separate living room in the room that we stayed. TV size was relatively small compared to the room size. After booking, I worried about car parking, but they had a machine parking system in the backyard, and front parking was also reasonable. They brought my car to the front park in the morning when my car was parked in the backyard machine park.

Big room with a decent bed and fairly central

I had a smoking room, so it stank if smoke.

Big mirror and strong water pressure. Near many eateries and bus stop is directly infront of hotel. cheaper than most hotel in Akita

dryer costs 100 yen for every 10 min and the lock for the door is not auto

The room was excellent for what we paid for it. It was spacious, comfortable, and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly. I would happily stay at this hotel again next time I am in Akita.

It was the cheapest I could find near Akita station (25min walking/10min by bus). It's okayish. I just spent one night.

Very old.
