Pros +
- The on-site restaurant in the evenings had good food.
- The room was bigger than we thought and actually quieter than expected. The whole hotel looked new and spotless.
- Friendly and helpful staff, staff helped with organizing our luggage to be sent to our next accommodation. Clean and comfy rooms.Located 5-10 min walk from Akita station.Quiet are.Busy hotel always seemed to be people como g and going - most likely due to there being a public bath on-site.
Cons -
- This is supposed to be a non-smoking reservation. The level I stayed at smelled of strong smoke, and even stronger smoke smell inside the room. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and stiff. The carpet floors felt dirty and sticky.
- The breakfast buffet was extensive but unsurprisingly catering to Japanese tastes. Would have appreciated perhaps some scrambled eggs and maybe some cereal. Also location is pretty far from downtown so had to take a train.
