Pros +
- For folks traveling with kids in the eje cafetero, Decameron Panaca is a relatively good choice. The hotel is right by Panaca and has easy access to it, though bear in mind that the entry is sort of hidden on the right to the Panaca entrance and signs are small. Food (buffet and snacks) and drinks are ok for an all inclusive, no top shelf brands. Lots of games and entertainment for kids, so it gets crowded and loud at night in the common areas. Spa area and pool is kid free. We had an event at Panaca and booked the hotel for convenience's sake.

Cons -
- The food is ok but not extraordinary in any sense. Best for families wanting a classic Colombian all inclusive entertainment hotel right by Panaca. Child free couples should look elsewhere for peace and quiet, the bungalows seem to be a good choice though definitely pricier. Food could be greatly improved. Very crowded.
- I didnt like that i have to pay a person to come to the room for 20 mins for make up for my wife, they charge me 50 dollars
- I would like to share feedback regarding my recent experience. After driving four hours to reach your location, I presented my U.S. Passport Card as identification. Unfortunately, the staff refused to accept it and informed me, in a dismissive manner, that “only a passport is a legal document.” This left me standing alone at the counter and feeling unwelcome. As a traveler from another country, I believe staff should be more informative and professional when explaining identification requirements. Additionally, it would be helpful if your office provided clearer guidance on accepted documents and ensured that staff were trained to deliver this information respectfully. For safety reasons, many travelers prefer not to carry a passport at all times, so having updated information about which legal IDs are acceptable would prevent misunderstandings like this in the future.Thank you for considering this feedback. I hope steps can be taken to improve communication and customer service for others in similar situations.

Location
Room maintenence, room door lock, safe, hair dryer not working. No ACPoor food and beverage
The overall facilities are good. Our room was quite spacious, although very warm. The buffet restaurant offered a variety of food options.
The constant loud music was overwhelming and not enjoyable for us. It seemed like the hotel was geared towards families who don't mind the noise. Children were running around loudly, making it hard to relax. Plus, not a single staff members spoke English, which made things difficult. Getting a taxi was a hassle, the receptionist denied my request to call us a cab and handed me the phone to do it myself, which I found quite rude. They only had one functioning restaurant with buffet, and trying to make lunch/dinner reservations at their sister hotel was a slow and complicated process so we didn't manage. The check-in window from 3 to 5 was too long, and there wasn't anywhere to wait comfortably for our room. The hotel felt crowded and chaotic, not the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for in a resort.
Most of the staff was attentive.
The restaurant reservation process is inpractical and inconvenient. The food at the buffet is mediocre.
Animal encounters for the little ones, my baby boy loved feeding the animals every morning.
It’s quite dated.
plenty of activities for everyone in the family
It was too busy. It's the kind of hotel you go to keep the kids busy but not too relax.
The location is amazing, there is a lot of activities and animations across the day. There is a variety of food so will always find something to eat. Room very comfortable, very friendly staff.
It’s very minor but there is a gap between 10 a.m and 12 you won’t find anything to eat. So be sure you don’t miss the breakfast.
Is in a beautiful location, staff were great.
Expensive rates, beverages poor, food ok but not great,at the price you pay per night it should be an amazing experience but it falls very short
great location
this hotel lacks a lot of the things you expect for a hotel this prize. it’s located in one of the most famous coffee regions in the world and there are no coffee pots in the rooms. I had to walk a long way to the hotel lobby at 6 am to get a 4 ounce cup of coffee to enjoy in the room’s balcony with a beautiful view. most basic things you need to request end expect they are available: a fridge, for example. there are hammock hooks in the balconies but no hammocks available. buffet food is barely ok. the location is great and very convenient to go to the animal park, the facilities are nice but the service can be much better.
staff were very helpful, organized and friendly.
internet signal was weak and fluctuating
Food did not meet expectations considering it was all inclusive.
Food, drink plastic caps
the location is so beatiful, friendly staff
the entertainment noise in the rooms, and the quality of food could be better, also it is a hotel located in the coffee region therefore the staff should be trained to serve proper coffee
Staff.. Location to Panaca..
Food was good/fair.. alcohol drinks bad.. night entertainment..
Bridge connecting to Panaca
Overrated, food is very low in quality. Rooms really average to pay $350 per night.
Clean, nice rooms that were spacious.
had to wait until 5pm for a room to be available for check in. it’s very much a family/kids holiday.
Great food and beverages. Good location, entertainment
Lack of freezer in the room
The swimming pool
a) The attention at the reception desk was rudeb) The daily cleaning of the rooms was latec) The food in "La Herradura" was bad
The ambience, decoration, food, staff. Loved it all!
