Pros +
- The hotel is pleasant to stay in, is near the Fukui castle ruins, and is within walking distance of the Fukui station and Asuwa River. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel provides you with a choice of bath salts and pillows. USB charging points are provided. The breakfast venue is not overcrowded and pleasant, and the dish choices were great. The hotel reception is now on the 1st floor.
- Close to train station. Nice few at 12 floor, comfortable bedCoffee and tee in the room. Really nice place to stay when visiting the Fukui
- Nice location, good sized room, nice breakfast. Room was too hot, the window didn’t open, and the only way to regulate the temperature was to prop open the room door. My daughter has eczema and was scratching all night. For this reason I don’t think I’d stay again. Otherwise it was great, but if it’s too hot to sleep in March, I’d have no confidence in staying here at any other time of the year.
Cons -
- The hotel furnishing is functional and clean, but is older and could use some updating. There are also some signs are only in Japanese (for example: the explanation of the bath salts, the pillow choices and the express checkout box). Since the hotel already has some English+Japanese signs, wouldn't it be great if more signs were also in English?
- Nothing at all. Just I hit my pinky over the door stopper cuz i didn't see it.
- I have no particular complaints about the hotel.

Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Staff were very helpful.
The hotel was conveniently located close to both the park and the bustling downtown area.I was very satisfied with the buffet-style breakfast, which offered high-quality local ingredients and regional dishes.
I have no particular complaints about the hotel.
The hotel is centrally located. Fukui Station is within walking distance with restaurants for dinner aplenty. One gets a chance to see the impressive station and the dinosaurs guarding the front. The room is also spacious and comfortable.
There's no car park in this hotel so I had to park in a car park outside. The first one was full by the time I got there so I had to circle the block till I see a car park # 2. I also had to lug my suitcase around the huge park before I got to the hotel.
Location good. Breakfast assortment was great.
Although breakfast was great, it was same everyday. No change
The croissant! It surprised me with great delight. An actual real croissant...15yrs in Japan and its hard to find.
Elevator buttons do not provide good feedback to guests when using. The lounge seating looked old an overused. The wallpaper in the room was peeling off the wall.
five start breakfast. Super nice and quiet restaurant.
room is a bit small
The room was a comfortable size with a pleasant view. I had all the amenities I needed. It was good to be offered a wide range of free optional amenities (teas, toiletries, etc.)
The wi-fi in my room didn't work in the morning. But it didn't inconvenience me as I left early and could use my phone.
The breakfast buffet was delicious! I love the way it is set up, so you can move freely from one section to anotherI also liked the bath powder bar. I enjoyed a nice bath with some of the bath saltsI saw another review that said the room was dark until you put the key in the correct place. Actually, the small light by the door works even without the key, so it’s fine
The room smelled slightly of smoke, but once I turned on the humidifier and AC, I didn’t notice it
Located 10 minute walk from the station and across the park, it’s close to the center. The reception is on the 5th floor and they have a few restaurants in the same building. Many of the room signs are written in English and staff have enough understanding to help you. The single rooms are spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. Curtains keep everything dark, there is a mini fridge, tea kettle and different business services. There are 2 convenient stores located a block from each direction of the hotel. I especially liked their self service for liquids (shampoo, conditioner, hygiene products, and pillows)
The building and amenities are a bit old.
Good location, plenty of amenities available at reception.
The key cards could do with an update, I struggled to get the door open when I inserted the card. Also the slot to insert your card to turn on the electricity is beside the bed rather than the door, meaning you have to stumble through the dark to find it
The view from 14th floor is amazing great ?
,it’s in the building and feels like any other can access to the rooms
Location is close to the station. Friendly staff and nice room
The location was perfect and was within walking distance of Fukui Station. Our room also had a great view, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
A nice hotel in Fukui city with decent facilities and comfortable rooms. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the are so you won't be limited in options to enjoy yourself. I only one night but it was good enough for a place to rest.
I liked everything!! They have a full stand in the lobby for extra amenities you can take for free - from shower caps to salt baths! I really got to relax . Was very comfortable. Wished I could stay for more
A good example of the kind of business hotel in Japan for the budget conscious.
It was strange having check in and reception on the fifth floor of an otherwise occupied building.
Location at mid-distance mid-distance between the station and Phoenix plaza,. Many restaurant at few hundreds of meters too. Excellent breakfast.
