- Good location, 10 minute drive from the dinosaur museum, several great restaurants within walking distance. There were bear sightings during our visit, but the staff provided adequate notice and free bear bell rental for peace of mind. The hotel interior was recently renovated and is nice and comfortable, much more spacious than typical hotel rooms in Japan. Dinoland play area was great for the kids after a long day at the museum.

The location is good if you want to visit the nearby Shinto Shrine and Dinosaur Museum.

Connecting room is quite big but has only one bathroom. Close to Echizen Daibutsu.

The children loves the play area on the basement floor. The size of the rooms were great by Japanese standards. Parking was free and right in front of the hotel. The breakfast had a large range of food and was tasty. The outdoor onsen was so refreshing and a great size as well. The dinosaur in the lobby was such a source of entertainment for my children. It really added to their experience.
Although efforts had been made to modernize the hotel, it still had a retro feel to it. The paper on the toilet door was peeling and two of the beds were quite hard. The other two were soft.

My kids love dinosaurs and the theme of the trip was about dinosaurs so the hotel helped us fulfill our purpose. The rooms were big and clean. The bath was great and not crowded at all late hour . We had a great time.
There aren’t many restaurants in the area and not many attractions on a rainy day. We went to Fukui station on the rainy day where we could find more restaurant options .
Themed hotel was super cool for my young kid. The was a cool kids play area that opened recently, good place to burn some leftover energy!The new rooms were modern and clean. It was also very spacious which was a nice change compared to the more populated metro areas
