Toyoko Inn Fukui Ekimae

I liked the location. Right at the train station.The rooms were clean

The staff were exceptionally rude. Never experienced anything like it. Very bad service. Staff were not properly trained in customer relations. The ladies at reception were colluding against customer and rude. I called the police three times but the hotel held onto policy even as it was inconsistent with customer safety and well being. A jungle experience.

Great location and facilities. Just in front of the Fukui station and was very convenient. Room size was better than other hotels.

Breakfast could have had more varieties.

It’s hard to beat the location - right next to the main train station! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and you can have a hearty breakfast.

They didn’t have many umbrellas to lend guests when it was raining. ☔️

Very very clean and large room size.

Minimalist concept; one-pillow; no water bottle (green earth) but no container to allow guest to use even with water dispenser at ground floor; the boiler is the smallest 300 ml unit directly attach to an electric cable; risk of cable getting soak when filling the tap water.

Loved the proximity to the train station, very convenient location with convenience stores close by, and cover to walk under when it’s raining.Room had everything needed for a couple nights stay. Good service

There was a traffic light directly outside my room which made this the worst hotel I’ve stayed in for my trip to Japan due to the constant beeping which I could very clearly and constantly hear. I like Toyoko Inn but it was just an unfortunate location and no sound proofing to outside noises.

Everything very clean and organized. Free drinks and everything. Very helpful staff. Thank you very much. I hope to come back here again.

The entrance to the parking lot is very close to the station, so many cars were waiting for their relatives to get on and off. Since there was no police patrolling, people took advantage of this gap.

It was super close to the train station, the free breakfast is appreciable and the employee are really kind. The hotel is a bit old but it's still great for the price and you feel safe as a solo woman.

During the checking I didn't feel confortable when the employee said the number of my room loudly because the others guest can heard it but besides that it's ok

Location is just beside the Fukui Station. Great all rooms come with breakfast.

Room bit tight if hv luggage, but hv option to place under bed.

- Excellent location just 3 mins walk from JR Fukui to the hotel- Good breakfast included in the room rate.- You can leave the luggages before check in and after check out

- No power plug socket at the bed

Breakfast was included in the price. It was delicious.The hotel is near the station, so we only have to walk about 2 minutes.

Just few steps away from the train stations (JR and Echizen), right in front is the Dinosaur square. Breakfast is good. Breakfast is from 630-900. Easy check-in and check-out using their checkin/out machine.

During breakfast time, the elevator (only 2) can get busy and crowded.

room size was good enough for solo traveler to stay.
