- Short walk from the station (~12min), friendly staff, very good breakfast, very tasty free beverage corner (I recommend the cocoa), view on mountains from the upper floors. Spacious rooms and very clean!
Cons -

- The mattress and pillow of the bed were quite hard (but if you do a lot during the day and just sleep at night, you might not find that bothering while sleeping).

The free breakfast and coffee were totally delicious! The staff was super friendly as well, would come again :)
The bed was a little bit small for two people, but manageable, but the pillows were a little hard
I like how they had onsen with free massage chairs, and their breakfast, their free drink service including coffee, matcha latter, hot chocolate etc.
Elevators smelled like cigarettes as there are smoking rooms.
Great location! Very clean, nice staff, Japanese breakfast. The public bath was really good!
The mattress was too hard. The parking system was a bit confusing.
This hotel is very well located. It's a little bit old, but is very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind!!
Room was clean, staff was super nice and accommodating, breakfast was included and was an interesting spread, TV had a cast function, so you could watch youtube and such, good location!
the bed was super hard and so were the pillows (the type with the little beads in them), so sleeping was difficult
Very good budget choice, buffet breakfast included.
Check-in machine was no use for check-in. Breakfast very crowded in the morning.
Friendly staff, good breakfast with a lot of items, daily cleaning, good location. Overall, it was perfect.
The room was a little small
I asked for more drip coffee during breakfast and I was declined. Instant coffee by the counter tasted terrible.
Very close to everything. The staff were very helpful, quick to communicate, and the breakfast was excellent.
The free breakfast was substantial and included juices/tea/coffee, eggs, sausage, salad, yogurt, potato salad, fish, spaghetti…There was a nice view of the mountain from the top floor. It was convenient to Fukui Station. Soap, lotion, shampoo and toiletries were provided.
The bed was quite hard. There was no ice bucket in the room.
Public bath, sauna were good. Breakfast include. Value money.
Room was not clean. Could see dust and carpet wasn’t clean either. Bed cover also wasn’t clean. Pillow uncomfortable.
Comfortable bed and very good breakfast.
A bit outdated and not so clean, found hair in the bathroom and on the towels right after check in.
It was small but comfortable. A private bathroom was a must and this fit the bill.
Parking was further away then we’d have liked. Dragging suitcases several blocks away was no fun.
The location was okay. About 10 mins from Fukui station.
The room was untidy. There's dust and spiderwebs on the walls and ceiling. The tub and bathroom walls weren't the cleanest.
There was almost no food when we arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before breakfast time ends. We were given rice and told to get food from the center table but there were 3 big empty trays and some tiny bowls with food in small portions, and the staff didn’t seem to care.Check-in was also disappointing because there was no explanation or whatsoever about what our room number is (not even the card key has the room number so I had to check our receipt), and I didn’t see the amenities at the check-in counter so I arrived at the room wondering why the hotel didn’t have them.
Initially, I thought the hotel was going to be very standard. But the breakfast was delicious, the staff were very kind and cheerful. Plus, the spa was a great bonus to have. Even though the hotel is a little old, it's clean, and the service makes up for it.
- Close to station, convinient stores and many local restaurants - staffs are friendly
