Perfect location! Got off the train and right into our hotel room!

Very small rooms - even for Japan…

There is nothing I disliked about the hotel.

Great location right next to the train station, convenient for shopping in the mall. There are many good izakaya and BBQ restaurants nearby. The room is clean and new.

The Location is perfect, near the metro station, bus station, shopping district. It's great for families, so it's also safe for solo female travelers.

Late checkout is not free, 1 hour late checkout 2000 yen, there are other hotels that do not charge you for late checkout.

The proximity to the train station. You can get to the hotel from the train station by walking all inside but it was hard to find on arrival so we had to walk outside in the rain. Had to ask a few people for directions. The lobby and lobby bathroom were dated. The room was updated, although probably a previous smoking room with lingering smell. There was a constant bell/beacon from the stairs close by for the visually impaired. We turned on the air purifier for white noice. No coffee machine but they have an electric water kettle. They have drip coffee sealed bags you can use in a cup to make the coffee with the hot water from the kettle. This came in handy because our train out was 6am and nothing was open to buy the coffee. The staff was nice enough to give us 2 disposable cups to take with us.

Short walk from Niigata Station, all inside through the station's shopping mall. The food was very delicious, traditional Japanese style focusing on regional specialties. It seemed that local people were eating here.

It is a relatively large business hotel, so the rooms were not large, but but they were very nice and clean. The bathroom seemed new.

We found it a bit hard to locate. It’s on the fourth floor of the Plaka 1 building adjacent to the station, and signage could have been better.

Too loud. Walls are thin, so could hear beeping from station and other guests through the walls making noise in the middle of the night.

Location. Just few minutes walk from Niigata station.

So security from the lift lobby. Anyone can get to the hotel room

Good hotel.

Doors are a bit noisy in the morning. And the futon/quilt is not good. A linen is used as a cover. This is a very bad idea.

The location is perfect. Very good if you need to catch a Shinkansen in the morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable, and there was a nice view of the surrounding city from my window. There was also an ethernet cable and ports on the desk, so I could set up my computer at the desk easily. A vending machine on every floor was also kind of interesting/nice. There happened to be some alcohol in the one on my floor.

I ended up spending a lot of time in the hotel room, so something like a microwave would have greatly improved the at-home meals I had access to. (There is actually a microwave in the coin laundry on level 5, so you could technically go there if you need to heat up food that you don't mind walking around with.)Noise seems to travels easily, so I was a little self-conscious of making phone calls at night time.There is a laundry service (which is great - the clothes were returned like new), but for some reason the clothes I submitted ended up being categorised under two new, handwritten, more expensive labels at the bottom of the payment slip, so I ended up paying a few dollars extra than expected when picking up the clothes. It was something like 1500yen for 1 pair of fairly regular clothing (socks, underwear, long sleeve t-shirt, jeans). Thankfully there is a small coin laundry on level 5, costing in total about 1200yen to wash and dry around 3 pairs of clothing, and the front desk will exchange 1000yen notes for 100yen coins for it.

Once we learned how to get around the property it was very convenient. Didn’t know the hotel was starting on the 4 th floor of the building. It was possible to get to the hotel without ever going outside. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor exit and go to the hotel elevator and up to the 4th floor hotel desk.

Location off the South Gate of the JR station.

Good location close to station on the same level when you get off the train station there is a connection which leads you to the lift of hotel, take the lift to reach level four for check in! Get off gate following gate east, continue you will see gate south, following along the shops, almost to the end and go down some steps down paying attention to the left side and you will see the hotel sign, so you don’t need to go out side to reach hotel

Deluxe rooms are on the 5th floor with a view of the other building. Not what I expected with a deluxe room.

I loved everything about this hotel. It has almost all facilities that you would like for a family stay. Plus, the location is the best in Niigata City. You stay above the Niigata Station, and you can move around the whole city and explore tourist attractions using the large bus network that operates at the hotel's location.

Great hotel very near the station. Incredible value at 60 dollars for a room for two adults and one four year old for one night. Facility was spotless and not sure if we were upgraded or lucky but room much bigger than I expected.

Staff seemed a little hesitant to engage with foreigners but were friendly and professional, especially once communication in Japanese was established.

we could hear the train station entrance stairs beeping sounds for blind people in our room which was a little disturbing but eventually got used to it
