Apa Hotel Niigata-Furumachi

Pretty standard APA hotel. First floor bathroom was nice. Was given 2 pillows which was perfect.

Paying for parking is ridiculous, especially since it’s not convenient to get to without a car.

Typical Japanese breakfast fast was good.

The mattress was awful, with a big slump in the middle, so I slept with my head at the foot and on the edge.

There is space below the beds to put the luggage. The room itself was also very comfortable. I also liked that they have an onsen, but I didn't have time to try it.

The rooms are quite small and it can be difficult to find a good spot to open the suitcase to look for something for example. It wasn't a big problem in my case, though. I wanted to use the coin laundry, but the machine was all the time already used.

The room is clean. Very good dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Recommend this hotel.

The bed was :1. In a silly position in the room, having to climb over my wife to get to the bathroom2. Very uncomfortableThe reception staff were not too friendly but your cleaning teams were lovely Apart from the Hotels location there was very little about this stay that was enjoyable.

It was very clean and calm. Location was nice to go to the port.

The Location is perfect, enough parking available further up the strreet

One of the elavators is still out of order.(for months now) There is only 1 washing machine/dryer available (in the men's spa)

Standard breakfast, with western bread, franks, eggs etc. also comes with niigata exclusives. Overall better to spend 1500 at a konbini

The loundromat is in a big bath's dressing room, so it was hard to find. It may be inconvenient if you stay here for 2 or more days.

Location of old part of town, everything was walking distances

Access from station was a bit inconvenient so we took a cab

Dinner is good. Staffs are good. Hot spa is good.

Lovely staff. Wonderful little bathrooms. Amazing breakfast. Decent view. Very cozy. Great for my 1 night stay.

Access to the sento public bath was great.

Rooms are small, not meant for family travel but appropriate for business travel. I did not like having the tv screen turn on automatically every time we entered the room. Fixtures and decor are old, and climate control is centralized for the whole building, meaning there is no in-room control for heat or a/c.

The loop bus was great who h was close to the hotel.

It was Golden Week and many shops were closed so I wished I had booked a hotel closer to the station where shops were opened.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is close to bus station and convenience stores around.

Cleanliness can be improved.

For a business hotel is quite good. The on demand service was free (even if the choice was limited) and the water free (1 bottle when you arrive).

The pipe system (bathtub mainly) was terrible, it was stinky and after I washed my hair they were all floating in the tube. The cost per night was 5000 yen on Friday, more than 12,000 on Saturday for the same room!

Facilities are decent.

Cleanliness of room. Room has spider webs and carpet is not clean.Booked for a family of 3 but the bed is not large enough for 2 adults and a little kid.
