APA Hotel Niigata

This hotel was within walking distance to the train station. The room was small (however we were probable advised of this when we booked however, I am not good at knowing the square meters of a room) but there was enough room under the beds to store your luggage. We enjoyed the breakfast which was next door at a little restaurant.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Breakfast was subpar and not as advertised due to a remodel that wasn’t clear when booking. All else was as advertised.

Near to the station and complete with amenities

No coin laundry on the premise. The nearest one is 5min by foot. For long stay, they do prepare in house laundry service that cost more than coin laundry

- Excellent location, close to the station, good restaurants, and the ferry terminal - Rooms are clean

- The restroom is extremely small. I mean that it is common in Japan that the restrooms are small, but this was a whole another level of small. I'm not that tall or wide, but even for me it was quite challenging.

Easy to find, not expensive, the employee are patient

The hotel was only a short walk away from the station. The room (including the bathroom) was nice and clean. Breakfast was fulfilling, from Sukiya, which is located on the ground floor. The staff kindly helped us get a taxi in the early morning to get to the ferry terminal for Sado Island.

Nothing I could think of - probably just a bit regretting they removed the laundromat. We had our laundry taken care of by the hotel, which, although was an excellent service, was of course more expensive than a laundromat.

Very good location near the station. Comfortable room with all necessary facilities

Rather small

Room was really nice, cozy, and clean. Within walking distance of the station, but also ramen shop "Tousenya" I fell in love with.A selection of movies was available for free on the TV. Though the selection was pretty horrible, they did have Across the Spider-Verse.

Language barrier with one of the receptionists but technology assisted us.

good location,staff is very nice

small bathroom

Close to the station. Nice and comfortable beds. The bath was nice and warm too. Lots of places to eat at nearby.

Very very compact rooms, i think the most compact we have stayed in japan. It was almost frustratingly small. Its fine for a night but I wouldn't stay for longer if you are staying with two people in one room.

Great location. Short walk to station and close to a number of nice restaurants. Definitely a tight fight especially if you have a lot of luggage (E.g a snow board bag) but that is expected for APA in Japan. Everything in the room is very convenient and makes any short stay easier. S

Bed takes up a portion of the room which makes hard to organise luggage.

Location to the station

The rooms had an odor, especially the toilet. The curtain at our bed head was also stained/mouldy. Additionally rooms were very small. Wouldn't recommend.

It’s really close to Niigata station. The staff is friendly and kind. My room was really clean.

My room was dark all day as the view from the room was of the wall of a nearby building.

Clean, good location n friendly staff. Near to city centre n train station.

Hope the check-in time can be 2pm or early.

Good size of the room and great price, good location

Bath room was tiny.

Good location, clean room and nice staff.

Close from the station , nice room

The bags were placed on the floor

Spacious comfortable room, large tv with full range of channels for free, excellent location, great value for money.

Breakfast was just at a chain restaurant at the bottom of the hotel, but very cheap so can't complain

One block from the train station, great location.

Very small accommodations, but enough room for two to sleep comfortably.

More convenient to access station and other locations. Located in very good place.

Bathroom is so small. Unable to take bath freely. It is difficult to use bath tab and washlet also. It is very complicated to use.
