I loved the breakfast, the staff at the restaurant and the cleaning staff.

I didnt like one of the girls that helped me at the front desk. I wanted to know if I could change rooms because of the noise of the laundromat above our room. It would wake us up early. She wasnt helpful at all and sort of rude. pool is only open until 6

Security Staff unpolite I ask for the manager I leave a note in front desk to him and never call me .

Everything. Easy to get to, secure, clean, lovely decor, very helpful and friendly staff. On-property (excellent) massage, incredible breakfast (included), free welcoming lemonade or water, excercise room, sauna/steam room. And pool on roof!

Nothing! What’s not to like?

The secure parking and helpful staff. And actually in the car-park, the walkthrough to the front desk. same on leaving, not having to struggle for parking space in front of the hotel, for unloading or loading. Should make more of this feature.

Mention of where the parking is, as its away from the front entrance, after a 5 hour drive, having to negotiate the one way streets to access the car park, but that's out of the hotels control.

Hospitable staff, clean, excellent breakfast . Nice touch offering a free cocktail to visitors .

As usual this time was excellent.

For 16 years we have travelled every year from Ecuador to Trujillo and Lima, Peru to visit my wife's family during Xmas holidays. We always stay at the Costa Del Sol in Piura the first night. We arrived December 19 and at the check-in they wanted to charge me the 18% tax. I told them I am from the Netherlands as they could see on my Passport and we are exempt from this tax. There was no way they were going to relent. A young lady and a Mr. Calderon. We argued and I even showed them the regulation but they did not listen. I had to pay the 18%! I had never been charged this before and during our 19 days in Peru no other hotel charged this tax to me. On our return January 07 the young lady at the check-in in Piura made it clear when we asked, that as an EU citizen I did NOT have to pay the 18%! Therefore, I am making an official complaint that as a Genius 3 client with Booking.com I will not accept what Costa Del Sol did to me December 19.

The breakfast was great. The location of the hotel was great. The room was great. There was a man standing down in front when you entered the hotel maybe in his fifties. He was very helpful

The lady at the front desk was not very helpful. I did not have reservations when I showed up. I asked if they had space and she started shaking her head and saying that they didn't have hardly any space at all but she had a one room that was available and when she said the price it was astronomical! I just stood there and stared at her because the price was so high. So I went into the waiting area and looked on my phone and booked the room with booking.com and it was 1/3 the price of what the lady had quoted me. There were lots of rooms available. So basically she must have lied when she said she only had a room at that really high price. So I went back to the front desk and showed the same lady my reservation and she never apologized but I got the room for 1/3 the price.

The air conditioner did not work well and the little water pressure to bathe.

Bed and pillows very comfortable

Jacuzzi not working and gym not great, didn’t have basics like dumbbells.

Had parking

Our room was dingy and stuffy. No windows, no view. Breakfast was awful. The hot water for tea was cold and even we kept asking it took them until the end of breakfast to bring it. Certainly didn’t live up to being a four star hotel.

Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly, attentive service from all staff including front desk, Paprika restaurant, spa, cleaning, airport transfer, and room service. Full breakfast with stay (not continental) with lots of options. I felt very safe there.

Was good but needs to place more food varieties. NO EVERYDAY THE SAME FOOD. OVERALL WAS GOOD

The hotel is very clean, the courtyard is very nice. It's quiet.

The room is small. The bathroom is hot. Breakfast is just so so. The electrical outlets are not stable. I couldn't charge my devices properly.

Restaurant at the ground level!

Hotel has some dark corridors, one electric interruptor in my room was broken. I didn’t like I needed to wait for them to confirm that everything was ok in the room, specially after saying I didn’t use any extra. They didn’t trust on my word. Trusting on clients would be appreciated.

The staff at the reception was great and very helpful with all our requests. The room was perfectly clean with all the amenities

The location is very close to de plaza center of piura and the property is nice arquitectura.

For the first time I found a mosquito fly’s in my room and also my room wasConecte with fifth floor wish is laundry or gymnasium room make to much noise during the days .

- All elevators were in maintenance mode, and the pool, spa, and gym are on the top level, poor planning.- There was a group of soccer players and many people crowded in the door, affecting the experience of the rest of guests. Again, poor organization.- I wanted to pay in cash, but the hotel made the charge in my credit card and in dollars, using their most convenient exchange rate (for them).
