Located in the heart of Heraklio Town, Legacy Gastro Suites is a 5-star hotel with a design inspired by the urban decor of the 50s. The hotel has an all-day restaurant serving a selection of original Greek recipes based on local ingredients, and offers suites with a balcony overlooking the sea. Drawing inspiration from the artistic heritage of Nikos Kazantzakis, Vincezos Kornaros and Domenikos Theotokopoulos, the suites combine classical decor with modern amenities. Each includes a seating area, a desk and a flat-screen TV. A food station supplied with traditional Greek products and a selection of Greek wine and spirits can be found inside the suites. Guests can start their day with a la carte breakfast served daily in the dining area, while they can also enjoy breakfast in the privacy of their suites at extra charge. Legacy Gastro Suites also offers a bicycle rental service and a business center. Speaking German, Greek and English at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always at hand to help. - The staff was incredible, caring and helpful! The hotel and location itself is perfect! Very clean as well
- Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Few rooms, nicely sized. Views. Georgina made many inquiries into tours, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was very good, waiters very attentive. The location quite convenient, near the museum, walk streets, airport, port.
Cons -
- The hotel claims to be soundproofed for the rooms but with our stay. We heard everything going on from all the other floors and rooms around us. From people moving chairs, to using their bathrooms or showers. Sometimes walking around too.
