Location is good.

Small rooms. High price.

Location inside village market is the only reason I would ever stay here again

Showers open to main room with no door and curtains that don’t fully close means cold air gets inside shower (never truly gets hot as I like). Literally no privacy, even with a mirror you can basically watch TV from the shower and your roommate better be your partner. Checkout was a nightmare. Usually hotels at this price have simple automatic checkout with little interaction. They insisted I needed to sign something, but had a lineup of people checking in and made me wait so long I just walked out to my taxi because I couldn’t risk being late for my flight. Overall, Even with the great location I would stay here again. Of note, I only stayed for the day as I had a late night flight and even for that short time I wish I stayed at my regular hotel, Kempinski Villa Rosa, and just took cabs to the mall.

Location, mall and the central location, the outside veranda was nice

The WiFi was horrible, very choppy in the room and kept getting disconnected. Then the shower was practically in the bedroom. It was cold to shower in because of the Aircon and lacked privacy because of the direction of the partition glass. Was not enjoyable for the duration. We actually tried to change rooms because of the shower but were told that all rooms were the same. Also I think breakfast could have been complimentary considering the room type and price.

Breakfast variety

Extremely noisy, rooms are mot noise isolated, the noise from the Shopping centre was huge. On top of that there was music all night in the corridors of the hotel. Since the room was mot noise isolated, it was impossible to sleep. Shower and the sink are inside the room!!! How is that possible! All the noise from the shower goes directly in the bedroom! Poor designAnd for the price we pay we had to pay extra for espresso at breakfast !

It was a little loud overnight but it was not the property’s fault

The hotel was comfortable, high security standards, I liked the possibility to go to a gym which was very well equipped

Unfortunately we got food poisoning at the own restaurant Harvest. Since it’s such a well known hotel and restaurant this was quite surprising to us and quite uncomfortable cause we had to travel the next day 5h to Amboseli. Despite the management and stuff being really concerned and assuring us they will follow up with us on this matter we only got one email and never heard back.

How fancy and clean it was. The personnel was also absolutely amazing

The swimming classes at the pool. We were there frim 14h-18h and were not able to swim because 5 people were doing laps and one was having a class by an instructor

Hotel is located inseid shopping mall Village market, with so many dining option, restourants, bars, shops, all you need when you come to Nairobi.

Linked to village market

Windows were not at all sound proof, I first had a room facing the mall area which had all the noise of the arcade etc so I asked for a room change which faced the road (on 7th floor) and got all the bus and traffic noise ? and could hear all noise in corridor/lift area , so I realized windows and rooms are not at noise proof which was surprising given the hotel category and price range

Never staying again

In the check-in the hotel pre-charged me for 450 USD advance from my credit card without telling me. The sum was significantly higher than the room price. The personnel at the reception had just said they need the credit card details for confirming the room. I didn't have time to check it due to fire drill. It took a long time at check-out for the hotel to return the 450 USD back to my credit card. According to the front desk staff this is their common practice.

Close to UN and had shuttle service to go there in the morning plus next to Village Market complex of shops

The location with a mall were you can find many restaurants to choose from

The fact that the shower was open in the room plus the lacking of cleanliness

Great location, gorgeous room with big comfy bed and nice details. Staff very helpful and responsive. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice.

Room was at the front overlooking the road so it was a bit noisy.
