Staff is outstanding and wonderful. Facility is perfect for a short stay.

Breakfast is overpriced at USD $60.00 for 2 people. My wife and I only had a small glass of juice, cup of coffee and perhaps a total of 3 or 4 danish. There needs to be a price list and menu for breakfast. I paid it but may look for other hotels on our next trip to Nairobi. They need a business center.

There needs to be individual pricing for the breakfast. A charge of $60.00 for my wife and I was ridiculous as we only had coffee and 2 muffins each. There is no alternate choice and you cannot leave the hotel and go anywhere else. We are not big breakfast eaters and we felt captive and taken advantage of.

The lobby, common areas and restaurants were lovely, just what you'd expect from a Fairmont property. We also really enjoyed the breakfast onsite. The dining room was nice, the food was very tasty.

The rooms were not Fairmont quality. We've stayed at a handful of Fairmont properties in different areas around the world, this room experience came up short. We booked this to enjoy a nice, comfortable stay for the last night of our honeymoon and we were extremely disappointed. The room was dated, the bed was not very comfortable, the bathroom was old, small, the tub was subpar. The shower was also subpar and leaked onto the floor of the bathroom. The location was also disappointing. The area did not feel safe. When we arrived our taxi was kept in a holding area and without much explanation or hospitality we were taken into a side room and had to pass through a metal detector and have our bags searched before being allowed to move onto reception for check-in. This happened every time we came back on property - it left you feeling like you were staying in a very unsafe area.

The staff were friendly, and the food was good. The hot meals were delivered early and staff always passed by to find out if you need something.

It’s a beautiful historical hotel that has been very well maintained and retains its authenticity. The service was exceptional, blending professionalism with Kenyan hospitality and warmth. We loved our stay.

The staff were always warm and friendly. The food was amazing. I'd like to mention the chauffeur service led by Mr. Eston and his team was incredible. Very comfortable and polite. Ms. Leah at the reception, great to have met you. Mr. Edwin, Mr. Jeremy was always a delight driving around town with you. Overall, excellent service and a great experience.

Nothing really. Oh yeah the security check at the entrance gate, where we had to get down from the car even as residents. Need to check on that. Sometimes we'd come back exhausted n having to go through the security scan was quite unnecessary. That's all. ??

Unbelievably beautiful. The hubbub on Nairobi vanishes when you enter the iconic hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, gardeners and managers alike. Everything you could want 24 hours a day.Will be coming again.

Omg the Staff are just gems !! Service was outstanding. Such a special atmosphere. We were here around Christmas and the decorations were so magical.

The Staff were so lovely and warm. They brought me a cup of tea after a very late check in. The service was top notch!

I loved the setting of the hotel and its beautiful garden ! An amazing oasis in the middle of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff, good a la carte breakfast options with good coffee which can all be enjoyed in the garden.

The wifi was not great, jumped on and off with little bandwidth. Also the pillows were not the best quality.

The front desk manager was excellent in accomodating us, so much so that we cancelled another hotel and returned to the Norfolk as indeed we will every time we are in Nairobi.

Breakfast room was pleasant. The variety of offerings was good, but there was nothing outstanding. The bar area was very pleasant. The grounds are beautiful.

With the price charged it seems there could be a less expensive option for transportation to/from the airport.
