- This place is a hidden gem! The staff were lovely, the room fantastic, the food was very fresh and it was perfect for departing from Wilson Airport.
- Everything was just perfect From the room to the dinner to the breakfast to the staff
- Words cannot say how grateful I am to this staff. We had a large group of about 30 people last min and they accommodated a last min surprise party. The staff was exceptional and the facility was amazing. Thank you so much Aero Club. You made some very happy memories for some life long aviators.
Cons -
- Loved everything!
- Too bad it is inside the airport The drivers have to pay parking for each pick up and drop off at the airport
- Many thanks to Audrie and Diana at the reception, the chef and the night chef for helping me with my diet and arranging great doggy bags for our very early check-out. We would love to come back! The only minor challenge over which the hotel has no control is an adjacent estate that seem to host local rave parties on weekends that seem to last until morning and are pretty noisy, though they did not interfere much with our sleep.

Though a seasoned traveler, I am short of words to describe this unique property. Its location is truly one-of-a-kind- right next to the real airfield from where small aircraft and helicopters take off for domestic flights. Mind you, no flights at night, so a good sleep is guaranteed. The premises are just awesome: a colonial building erected back in 1927, with the fantastic authentic atmosphere of those days - be that the cozy fireplace room or the old British-style library with old books - all about airplanes and navigation; lots of genuine trophies and artifacts on the walls and real antiquated engines scattered throughout the place, serving as coffee tables, or stands, or just sole art objects- all of that creates a very special kind of ambience. There are two lovely courtyards - large enough and safe enough for kids to play (and a playground is there as well), and providing the atmosphere of relaxation for adults. The place is very secure - actually, there are two very well fenced perimeters around it: one- of the airport/airfield itself (as the hotel is inside the airport)- is under 24/7 surveillance, with cameras and barbed wire on top of a very solid fence; and the hotel's own perimeter secured by guards. The swimming pool and gym seem to be taken good care of though we didn't use them this time. Rooms are of 2 kinds- for pilots and crews (we stayed in the latter). Though not that large, our room boasted a supercomfy king size bed with an anti-moscquito net around it (yet another reference to the colonial days though very useful and efficient against moscquitoes), an AC, a tea kettle, and a spacious bathroom with a great shower (needless to say, the water is purified and safe to use for brushing one's teeth). There also is a bar and a restaurant, both in the same colonial style. We haven't use the former but food at the restaurant certainly worth a Michelin star!

Convenient location. Affordable. Clean. History. Ambiance. Food and drink. From the Barman, waiters to the reception, the staff were exceptional!
Very good
Not a big deal but the website indicated a free shuttle to Wilson Airport. When we booked at the front desk we were told it was not free, it was $5 USD
Wonderful place, the staff are very kind, the atmosphere is good and the restaurant is great.

It had a very real sense of history with the wooden beams and floor coupled with the aeronautical memorabilia on the walls while at the same time having a nice pool and gym. Staff were one the top friendly.
The ambiance of this historic place, located next to Wilson Airport. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms with spacious bathroom.
Amazing Historic property that is well maintained. Love the history coupled with great service and beautiful spaces and really well appointed rooms.
Nothing!
Good location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend as a stop over for Wilson. Not far from JKIA either as close to the expressway.
Great property! I had an early morning flight at Wilson and this location was very very ideal. The staff were AMAZING! I can’t express how pleasant and helpful they were. Only feedback is that for those with very early flights, it would be nice to have a to go breakfast bag with fruits and a juice packet given that they will miss the hotel breakfast.
Staff are always great very helpful and friendly and remembered me from previous visits which always makes you feel very welcome
Set within the wilson airport complex this property is a fantastic retreat prior to onward travel, but it is also as a place to relax and enjoy the lovely facilities and courteous staff. I was delighted by the immaculate and tasteful clubhouse and accomodation bungalows. The history of the club is fascinating, but it doesnt rest on its laurels and offers first class accomodation beautifully updated for the 21st century.I enjoyed the excellent menu, large mugs of tea and old favourites such as bread and butter pudding, great for a jaded palette.
The Aero Club is a unique venue - it's like going back in time. The staff are so friendly and I have stayed there a few times and they always remember me. It's fun watching the small planes fly in and out of Wilson
Great location for early morning safari flight from Wilson Airport.
Their breakfast starts at 6.30, too late if you take the first safari flights. They could but did not offer to pack breakfast for us.
Novelty of being in annairport next to an airfield for light planes. The food was good staff fantastic and the room comfortable all being a little small. .
Room size and mattress seemed comfortable but.might need an upgrade.
Excellent facities , lovely food and helpful staff
Na
Amazing stay and perfect location to fly from Wilson airport. The kids loved their play park. Breakfast was amazing! We wish we had had time to make use of the pool, it looked lovely!
Nice room, gym facilities and pool. Food was very good and desserts were amazing. Staff very helpful organising taxi’s for us. They also have ‘day rooms’ available which is very helpful when you have a night flight. Lots of aircraft memorabilia inside the club.
Nothing to dislike however, it is difficult to find, it is best to go with the taxi’s the hotel arrange. It’s right next to the runway for Wilson airport so it is noisy but we didn’t mind at all.
