Kenya Comfort Hotel

Staff very helpful at reception and the gentleman at reception who got the uber for us and doorman. Walking distance to restaurants and many places.

Loud noises from street through night. No parking to unload bags etc. It is very inconvenient. Smallest room experienced just enough for bed and table. Not even space to open our bag. Check out time being 10.00am Bare minimum. elevator not working most

The place had seen better days...A blt dark and drab inside. The night time tours they were offering still had Mad house and New Florida nightclubs as part of the itinerary which now don't exist:(

Top notch place for the price. There is a working elevator, warm water all the time, friendly receptionists, location is outstanding in Nairobi, what more could we want. We had an early morning shuttle bus to Arusha and the hotel is located literally 20 seconds from the stop. Many great restaurants in the neighborhood including the pizza place right next to it.

This place is very afordable, compare to other, and very comtable, some of the room have incredible sunrise i was shock

I chose this hotel because I was let down by where I had already booked to stay and I knew Kenya Comfort was in a convenient location away from some of the noise of Nairobi CBD,The staff were polite and efficient. The rooms are not very spacious, but the shower was amazing!There are many places to eat within a short walk of the hotel.

I did not use the restaurant as the prices of other places to eat were reasonable nearby, but for convenience it would be useful if time was short.

I chose location so I could easily walk to the shuttle bus. All staff were very niceBreakfast was ok, plenty of food

There was very loud dance music in the building until midnight. Then again in a nearby location from 3 am. I didn’t get much sleep.The lift failed when I was checking out so we had to carry bags down stairs from 4th floor.

Able to do late checkin, offer airport pickup, restaurant at the hotel, close to the airport.

They didn’t give me a blanket, i was freezing when I arrived. 35 usd for one night for the room, i’ve stayed in nicer places in more expensive cities for this price and got much better facilities…

Great location for my trip because of easy access to the university as well as sites downtown. I have visited this hotel intermittently for many years and even though it is a bit dated, it has not declined in quality (it was always a bit of a budget hotel). Some of the same staff has worked here for many years and the front desk people are extremely kind and responsive! :) The security has improved, with keycard access and good key control at the desk. Even though the breakfast choices are somewhat limited, the quality is good and everything is made on request. Always fresh fruit available with option of eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage, juice, tea/coffee, and sometimes sweet potato or arrowroot.

The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and got a peaceful one where I slept well every night. It would be nice if espresso-based coffee drinks were available in the restaurant.

Location, breakfast, friendly staff, watchman looked after our car well.

Its been run down over the years, facility looks old needs a face lift.

Room was plain and simple but well functional. Very much what you expect when traveling on a budget. Yet, it is very well located in CBD and the hospitality and kindness of the people is exceptional.Had to cut our stay from two nights to one for private reasons, anyhow they managed to charge us only the price for one night, which was really fair. Nice terrace to have a beer also.

The whole facility has grown old somehow, yet it is quite charming.

It was basic and old, but all you need is there. Good shower, good bed, good wifi, nice restaurant.

Do not let the exterior put you off. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are simple but clean. The staff is just lovely and immensely helpful. I had a wonderful stay.

The toilet didn't flush and staff hadn't cleared previous occupant's droppings. There was noise from the adjacent building site all through the night.
