Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill

I remember the lamb chops there were very nice. The buffet in the morning was great too! And the pool area outside was nice. The staff were very nice. The room was good too, and it had a nice jacuzzi.

I had to pay more for my friend to stay. I thought I already paid for a double room.

It was absolutely beautiful. Everybody was spectacular and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and all the Tour guides and transportation was wonderful.

The location was convenient for me.

I thought Radisson Blu would be like the other Radisson hotels around the world, but this one was a huge disappointment. The staff showed poor hospitality and treated African guests with suspicion, as if they were thieves. They constantly followed up about bills instead of providing a comfortable experience, and when I asked to speak with the general manager, they refused to let me meet him. It feels like the staff care more about each other than about their guests. There are a lot more issues I could mention, but at any cost, I strongly advise people not to expect anything good from this hotel.

The professionalism of the staff and would like to make special mention of Patrick, Alex and Janet at the reception, Felix and the lady in house keeping on 8th floor and Janet and Audrey in the business center on the 8th floor. The health club facilities are also excellent.

Operating the air conditioning in the room is not user friendly.

The hotel was pretty new and secure. The gym and pool facilities are quite spacious and offer everything you need. We got an upgrade to the executive suite with access to the lounge.

In comparison to other hotel lounges this one wasn’t 24/7 and not even open for breakfast. Also we would have appreciated to know the opening and dinner times on checkin or visible anywhere. In this case you had to ask staff.

DidnPatrick at front desk was the wordy hospitality agents I ever interacted with in my life’s. As were all the hospitality agents working the front desk. They didn’t clean my room for two days

They accused me of stealing lunch

The place has high security standards. Even though it’s safe but you feel safer. The place is clean and fantastic, there are two restaurants, and a bar that can serve quite delicious food and drinks too.

The gym needs more equipments and the spa is out of service.After that it’s worth it.

Being an avid traveler, this is one of the worst experiences I have had with any hotel. It would be a shame to say it's a 5 star hotel. The hotel does not care about the guests staying for leisure, only for the people attending conferences or using their ball rooms as events. The security was untrained, despite staying there for 4 days they made us get off the car before the reception every time you enter for security screening. During the screening they did not inform what route to use and it lead them to hitting me with a barrier. Highly unrecommended for a stay. Additionally, forgot to put the dnd on the door on our first night and the housekeeping entered a dark room while we were screaming don't come in 4 times between 9am-12pm.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was tidy. The restaurant served delicious food, and the bar staff were friendly. Everything was great.

I don’t understand why meals at the restaurant can’t be charged to the room. This should have been communicated to me during check-in, informing me that all restaurant expenses cannot be billed to the room.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, offering a great variety of delicious options. My room was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend!

However, one downside was the security at the entrance constantly asking for tips every time I entered with my car. While I understand this practice is common within us Africans, it could be annoying and uncomfortable for certain guests.
