Very clean and staff were helpful and friendly

The pool is much smaller than what it looks like in the pictures.

Close to a big shopping mall where one could get almost everything a travel needs. Also outside the city's notorious traffic jam and closer to the airport

The staff was incredible very attentive to details and very polite. I felt like I was home.

There’s a restaurant that’s owned by a third-party company that has nothing to do with the hotel within the facility and the food is not as advertise. I went the second time in hopes to try something different to give better review, but got the same quality of food, which was not as advertised in the menu. Taste not good

The rooms at Eka are very comfortable and clean but my favorite part of staying at Eka is the staff. They always welcome me back are so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a huge menu and everything has always been very good.

The A/C units in some of the rooms need maintenance but on my last stay the room was very comfortable and the A/C worked great.

The air conditioner didn’t work for three nights, so I couldn’t sleep well at all. So I get very tired during the day. The food buffet wasn’t excellent plus I had to pay extra for juice and water. The shower was fine.

Fix the air conditioner, the maintenance man came in the room but he couldn’t fix it. Juice and water should be part of the buffet. Plus the tiny glasses aren’t for grown adults. So why serve us with miniature glasses. And they have an extra fee for everything. A fancy hotel should have a bathroom with two sinks so we don’t have to wait for one person to finish before we can use the sink.

Very hospitable staff, convenient location close enough to the airport, but also with easy access to anywhere in town. The hotel has a 24-hour kitchen with good food options, though we found that the bartender went home after a certain point so cocktails couldn’t be served, only beer/wine. The hotel has a gym, pool, and a small spa (great massage!), as well as beautiful grounds with a running/walking track out past the pool. Wi-Fi was decent, even in the room.

The buffets are a bit expensive, though there is a lot of variety. In-room TV sometimes fritzes out, though the connection recovered after a minute or two.There were renovations going on while we were there, and we were woken up at 8am on a Friday by loud hammering in the room directly adjacent. When I called the front desk, they told me that a placard had been left in our room to notify us, but we never saw or found that.

The staff were nice.

Rooms were in partial disrepair. On our 3rd room, we had a working shower. The exercise equipment was mostly broken.

Great security: guards inspect vehicles and visitors and their bags are scanned upon entry. The lobby was quite pretty and the onsite restaurant was pretty good. Staff was exceedingly friendly. The concierge arranged rides for us in a hotel branded vehicle. These were more expensive than Uber but safety was assured.

Eka is an outstanding hotel. Definitely would recommend for a stay in Nairobi.

The only downside to our stay was the room lighting. It did not seem bright enough.

Spacious,comfortable room. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Restaurant was good as well as coffee bar in lobby. Acceptable distance from airport.

room coffee was nescafe. Exercise room had two bikes, a treadmill and hand weights. Pilates ball, mats would be nice.

Staff, restaurants, cleanliness, convenience

Beautiful property close to the airport. Rooms well appointed with water/coffee etc. The breakfast was a huge spread of all kinds of food, fruit and delicious. Was excellent for dinner as well. There is a supermarket and pharmacy across the street in a mall for shopping and is in a safe area.

I found out that I had been fleeced by Booking Com all this time. Despite paying $151 for lousy accommodation I was asked to pay for all other services such as hotel shuttle 47 dollars, breakfast which were 2 boiled eggs, 2 slices and a cup of tea vatKshst Kenya she 1650 which was too expensive. I had to pay service charge etc etc. I will never stay in Eka again nor book using Booking. Com again.

The room was spacious and well equiped. Well placed close to the airport

Very nice hotel in a good location, near Nairobi National Park. Clean, comfortable and excellent food! Friendly and helpful staff.

Air conditioning in room could have worked a bit better.

For the price the hotel should include that as Standard. Most leisure facilities include small tweaks to make them popular and competitive. Travellers always look for value for money. I would recommend including a continental breakfast as a standard.

No breakfast, bed and breakfast is normally a standard with many leisure industries

This was a very convenient location if you are moving between airports as it sits right between the main Kenyatta airport and the smaller Wilson one which is used for tours and flights out into te Masai Mara.
