Jacaranda Hotel Nairobi

Friendly and professional staff. The Fitness center/facilities (Gym, sauna and massage) were excellent. Meals were delicious and breakfast consisted of a nice variety of options.

My room was directly opposite the pool and on my last night, there was noise at the pool side as early as 4am by some group of kids who came to use the pool and that woke me. I needed a good sleep since I was traveling later that day, but couldn't get one. Kindly restrict usage time for the use of such facilities to a time when guests are awake and place noise restrictions there due to proximity to the rooms.

Great location, good price, good breakfast. The suitcases had to be carried through stairs, but the attendants were very helpful

Convenient location in the heart of Westlands, with green space and outdoor pool and spa. The rooms are comfortable and come with all the needed amenities. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and the room rate was good.

The jacaranda is always a pleasure. However, their showers are problematic… the water is cold and without pressure.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept and the food was very good

Oasis of green space in Central city Westlands area. Handy access to a mall. Rooms of a good size and beds comfortable. Large self service breakfast choice. Happy to stock extra complimentary water.

I have stayed many times before but I get a sense standards have dropped cleanliness in some places. TV didn’t work in my room and some of the food was poor

Good location in Westlands, with Sarit Centre shopping mall across the road. The area can get heavy traffic in rush hour, but with the new express way the airport is now within easy reach. Comfortable room, great buffet breakfast. One of the few hotels that has kept some green space - inner courtyard with swimming pool.

No airco, only a ceiling fan. Sound insulation - I could follow a neighbour's late night phone call verbatim and had to request the reception to intervene, which they did.

The Jacaranda Hotel has been my choice as a place to stay for a long time. It is not the most up to date. But the staff are great and the location is good.

The food I had a number of meals all of very poor quality. Not recckmend Ed I always ate out after these disappointments

This is my favourite hotel in Nairobi. I always stay here as the location is great. The staff are amazing. The whole hotel is a bit dated, but the good things about the hotel clearly make up for the few short comings.

Its pretty hot at this time of the year in Nairobi. The Hotel needs to start investing in ACs to make sleeping better

The location was good and staff friendly. Breakfast was nice and pool area as well. They were playing loud music in the courtyard one evening around midnight, but when i called the reception they instantly listen to our request

I found a chewed chewing gum on my bedframe behind the pillow and a cockroach on our bed….The hotel would also needs to be renovated as certain areas was rather worn down

Heritage hotel in Westlands from the 60s, lovely architecture, awesome gym/swimming pool. The mall across the street comes in very handy. Fabulous breakfast and restaurant/bar. Spacious garden. Will come back there.

The only issue is the noise coming from nearby clubs - but only in the weekends. The rest was perfect.
