Novotel Nairobi Westlands

The staffs were very professional especially Mr. IAN and Stephen who assisted me personally during my time.The room size and the views were worth it especially the fireworks on the 31st night was mind blowing from the 8th floor. The cleaning was never compromised as the beddings and Duvets could be changed atleast 2 twice a day upon request.

Food was generally expensive and cold hence we decided to eat fresh food outside. You can find the CINE MALL with just less than 7mins walking distance where you can find popular restaurants in there

The hotel is in a good location, which makes it convenient to get around.

However, the food was not pleasant. Above all, the elevators are painfully slow, especially considering the size of the hotel.

Everything, from room to bed, breakfast, shower, staff. Excellent hotel with excellent service. My breakfast was delayed the first morning and Ms. Doris, the kitchen manager served me a free breakfast ?. The staff are Excellent.

Good location. Next to two Carrefour walking within 5mins . Security. Comprehensiveness.

Everything about Novatel was a 10/10

- The room is very clean, and literally spotless. There's no mould in the corner of the shower. - The gym is large. The staff in the gym is also very nice.- The pool is also clean. - The staff gave us a stuffed toy when we checked-in. There are also special welcoming drinks.- We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in different restaurants (rooftop pool side bar, Indian, Italian) of the hotel. All (staff and food and hygiene) are very good. The breakfast is exceptional with different juices and food.- We also went to another hotel called Social House in Nairobi. The staff in Novotel were much well-trained in general. - Special thanks to Ezekiel. We were there during the protest and Ezekiel took very good care of us. - Highly recommend Novotel.

Good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice oool overlooking the parts of true city. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

My room had a window between the bathroom and the bathroom — while there was a blind, it still had gaps on the sides.

The hotel was new, fresh, comfortable, and easy walking distance to two malls. The staff was helpful and kind. The restaurant on the 11th floor was delicious.

The service at the ground floor restaurant was disappointing. Both at breakfast and dinner I was ignored for long periods while other tables arriving after me were served. I didn’t return after those two experiences early in my 5 day stay. Not sure what that was about. The food was good though!

The food at Trunk & Tandoor was a standout, especially the butter chicken & tandoori which made dining in a real treat. The rooftop bar was a great place to relax in the evening, with stunning views of Nairobi’s skyline and a lively but laid-back atmosphere.I also appreciated the well-equipped gym, which made it easy to keep up with my fitness routine. The rooftop pool added an extra touch of relaxation, offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. Overall, it was a perfect mix of comfort, good food, and modern amenities.

The air conditioning in the room wasn’t as cool as I expected, especially during the warmer parts of the day. It made the room feel a bit stuffy at times. Aside from that, most other aspects of the stay were great.

We landed in Nairobi extremely early in the morning and the staff was ready and waiting upon our arrival. The entire stay was excellent, from the food to the accommodations. The views from Trunk & Tandoor of Nairobi were spectacular, will recommend to friends and other professionals for business and leisure.

The hotel is very well located and has a nice assortment for breakfast. We were in a 1 bedroom executive suite. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We traveled with our baby and the hotel had a cot available that was in very good condition. The gym facility is also very nice.

The main kitchen is on the bottom floor and it seems there isn’t a proper exhaust system because the entire hotel smells like food. We stayed on the 6th floor and it smelled like we were in the kitchen. The rooms are not fully equipped for international plugs. So, we required a travel adaptor and surprisingly the hotel did not have one and suggested we go out and buy one. I would expect a hotel of its caliber would have taken the extra effort to make sure one was available instead of instructing its guest to buy one. This really irritated us. The hotel is new and requires some additional attention to detail. For example, our bathroom did not have a garbage bin and we needed to call for one, which took about an hour to deliver. The bedroom has bright lights so even though the room can be kept dark by the curtains, the room will be illuminated by the lights on fixtures or the flashing light on the smoke detector, which made it difficult to sleep well. Also odd that a 1 bedroom suite has 1 telephone only in the bedroom, so ordering room service while our baby was asleep in the bedroom was impossible.

Great location, very nice pool and bar area, room was spacious and comfortable and staff were very professional. The view from the hotel pool/bar is fantastic.

It was modern with great decor and outstanding facilities. The staff was exceptional, very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was very good. My stay was very pleasant and comfortable and I’ll highly recommend this property. I was very impressed with the quality of the property. Thanks to everyone who made my stay very enjoyable.

Not much but I didn’t like the fact that housekeeping didn’t tend to my room on after my second night of stay.
